Chapter 16: Mid season Break warm up

While the club is busy preparing for it's new outlook, the activities being carried out in the club is affecting the players training so we decided to go to Spain earlier than planned, while that will cost us more but for our grand plan what is a bit extra cost.

We decided along side the coaches that more emphasis should be placed on working one on one with the players to train their technique especially the ability to utilize the ball in a small space as well as help them gain confidence and a winner mind set than training tactics since a lot of main players are absent.

Since the day I got to know the personality of the new owner of the club as well as his love and ambition for the club I was happy and scared because the support of the club is great and I will be able to do all I've always wanted to while I am scared since any dip in form or decline in the competitiveness of the club is on my head. It's a new challenge but one I love and gladly accept.

It's been two weeks now since there are changes in the ownership of the club but I can see the differences already. I asked for two more technical coaches and three young but renowned coaches were signed, a dutch, a Spanish and a Brazilian. With the Brazilian assisting Benni McCarthy as our Attacking/striker coach.

Our analysis team is already coming together from what I can see, with super computers gotten to calculate algorithms and specialist signed with the ones on ground already.

I can see differences in the players ability to utilize the ball since then and I've been working with Mitchel Van der gaag on how to diversify our attacks while creating in them the love for attacking football while not neglecting their defensive duties.

The Owner asked me some questions on if I will love one out of some center defenders, and when I answered in the affirmative he said he will use that to ask for my forgiveness since Harry Kane deal seems not possible this winter. I was told to wait for the good news.

We played an internal friendly between two teams I created from our available players a team martial having Garnacho, Iqbal, Mengi, Shoretire, Dubravska and others and team de gea having Sancho, Elanga, Lindelof, charlie McNeil and others.

In the game I was able to see the hunger and passion I always wanted in our games with both teams going back and forth against each other, their abilities to create chances, their defense and the work rate, everything was applaudable. There is something as well,.a kind of confidence even pride, in the players that allows them to play better than their natural capabilities that seems new, since like getting a rich owner has other advantages.

For our upcoming friendly match against cadiz I am anticipating to see if all these new qualities will be brought by the players to the club. I can see this new team using both technique and tactics to tear apart a team and the medical team are sublime, the players seem to have an inexhaustible energy that they apply in the game allowing my "all attack all defense" to be possible.

Sancho's POV

I never knew I can say it's a blessing in disguise to not be selected for the world cup, but surprisingly it is. With the aid of the decision to block all my social media accounts to avoid distraction, and put all my efforts to improve my game, I can see myself improving at a crazy rate, even the confidence is back with our new technical coach from Brazil Diego specializing in training me and the aid of our new analyst teams showing me clips of where I made errors and clips where some legends did better in those scenario, I just cannot wait for the season to begin.

Garnacho's POV

Some people might think I stayed at Man United for the money, but I do believe in Boss plan for the club and since we got a new owner, the level of support we players have been getting from deep tissue massage after training, to more technical coaches to improve our technique to the data analyst that shows me errors I make in decision making and giving me short videos of great wingers and playmakers like Ronaldinho, Neymar Jr, Cryuff, Messi, Hazard saying I have the potential to be not just a world class winger but to be a playmaker as well. I even saw several falsh drive they said belongs to other players.

Anthony Martial's POV.

I never knew it was possible for me to say this but I feel I am as fit as a bull. The new medical teams and their equipments is not at the level of sports equipment but at the level of big countries main hospitals, I am scanned with several machines every day before starting training and I do get scanned after different trainings too alongside soaking in hot tubs and getting massaged. I just have to train with my full mind without being scared of getting injured and I can see improvement with the aids of our coaches. God I think our Coaches are up more than 60.
