Ling Yui, in her new world as "Feng Yuxing," began her day feeling different. She was determined to explore the magical abilities everyone spoke of in this world and understand how to use them. She decided to head back to the library to search for books that could help her grasp the basics of magic and how to harness it.

She entered the library quietly, surrounded by shelves filled with ancient books and old manuscripts. The pages were dusty, carrying within them the secrets of the past and the knowledge of bygone eras. She picked a book titled "Fundamentals of Elemental Control" and began to browse through it intently.

She murmured softly as she read, "Each person holds a primary element within themselves that they resonate with. Some can control only one element, while others possess the ability to control two, and those are considered rare..."

She lifted her gaze after absorbing that paragraph and wondered to herself, "If there are those who can control two elements, could I be one of them?"

Ling Yui returned to her room, holding two more books about magic training. She knew she couldn't ask anyone for help; everyone here might suspect her intentions or consider her just another player in the family's power struggle.

She began reading about a meditation technique called "Self-Alignment," a practice that helps individuals discover the element they resonate with naturally. She closed her eyes and started to follow the instructions, attempting to calm her thoughts and focus on her inner feelings.

As time passed, she felt a gentle flow of energy, as if her body was drawn to two different forces. A cold sensation enveloped her, as if she were surrounded by snow, yet at the same time, a light warmth flowed like a gentle breeze. She opened her eyes in astonishment and whispered to herself, "Does this mean I have dual abilities? Ice and wind?"

The next day, she decided to test her newly discovered powers. She sneaked into the back garden of the mansion, where there was a spot away from prying eyes. She closed her eyes once again, trying to summon the cold energy she had felt during meditation.

She focused on the sensation of ice within her, feeling it flow from her fingertips, as if she were controlling the chill in the air around her. In an instant, she felt her breath growing colder and opened her eyes to see a thin layer of snow forming on the grass beneath her feet.

She smiled to herself and said quietly, "I did it… I can use magic!"

While she was immersed in her magical experiment, she heard footsteps behind her. She turned quickly to see Feng Zulin standing a few steps away, looking at her with narrowed eyes and a cold smile.

He said mockingly, "Oh, it seems my little sister has finally discovered something about herself. Ice, is it? How fitting for your personality."

Ling felt a tension rise but didn't show any fear. She replied confidently, "Is that unusual? We each have our own abilities."

Zulin laughed lightly and said, "I won't do anything now, but remember, this power you possess could be a blessing or a curse if you don't learn to control it. Caution is essential in a family like ours."

He left her, and she felt a new challenge ahead. She realized he would be watching her, and her family would not hesitate to exploit any weakness. But she was ready for the confrontation.

After this unsettling encounter, Ling decided to increase her training, but she wanted to learn more about using magic more efficiently. She tried to utilize her knowledge from the book she had read, but the deeper she delved, the more she felt the need for guidance.

She approached Liang Yao and asked with feigned curiosity, "Yao, is there a place where I can practice my magical abilities without bothering anyone?"

Liang replied hesitantly, "My lady, there is a training ground for family members. But I'm afraid going there might draw attention from others."

Ling thought for a moment and said, "That's alright. I need this training, and I will be careful."

The next day, Ling went to the training ground. It was large and open, surrounded by tall walls for privacy. She began to experiment with her energy again, trying to summon wind and ice together.

She felt the flow of energy inside her and managed to create a ball of ice in her hands, swirling with currents of air. The experience was exhilarating, as if she had entered a new world where she could create things from nothing.

But after a few moments, she felt exhausted and began to gasp. She hadn't anticipated that magic would consume so much of her energy.

She said to herself softly, "It seems I need to strengthen myself more so I can control this power."

As she prepared to return to her room, she heard a voice behind her once more. She turned cautiously and saw a strange man in a black robe, his eyes glimmering with a mysterious gaze.

The man said with a cryptic smile, "I watched your training, young lady. You have a unique talent."

Ling felt uneasy and asked, "Who are you? What do you want from me?"

The man approached slowly and said, "I am just a magic teacher, searching for gifted students. I noticed you possess a rare dual ability, and I wanted to offer you some advice if you are interested."

Ling hesitated for a moment, but she realized she needed any help she could find. She nodded and said, "Alright, I will accept your advice."

The teacher smiled and said, "The first thing you need to learn is how to control the limits of your energy. Magic can be dangerous if not used wisely."

The teacher began to teach her some simple techniques for focusing and controlling the flow of energy, and she noticed a gradual improvement in her ability to control her elements of wind and ice. She trained under his guidance for several days, and her skills improved remarkably.

One day, while she was training with the teacher, Liang Yao suddenly appeared, a worried expression on her face. She whispered, looking around, "My lady, you must return to the mansion. There is an urgent family meeting, and the elder has summoned everyone."

Ling felt anxious and bid farewell to her teacher before heading back to the mansion. She wondered what could be the reason for this sudden meeting.
