Interrogated By Sebastian.

Sebastian:

I pulled myself away from her while she cleared her throat, nervousness clear in her eyes, and faced me.

"Just what's with this woman?" I thought to myself as I frowned in confusion. There's no way the information about her would be wrong but how is she so different from the information we have about her? It's as if she is a different person.

She heaved a deep sigh and matched my gaze. "No. I don't think we have anything to talk about."

A smirk adorned my face as I scanned her up and down. That was interesting. So, you're telling me, the information we, an internationally renowned organization, have false about her, a little university girl? No. Was that really her identity?

"I got to go." She said as she slid out to the other side when I pulled her hand back.

"Wait."

She frowned, struggling to smack my hand away as my brows furrowed. "Do you want to talk with me civilly or do you want me to put you in cuffs?"

She glared at me, putting on a fake smile, stepping backward, and meeting my gaze again. "What do you want to say? Make it quick."

"How do you explain how you knew about today's operation?"

She rolled her eyes, removing her hands from my grasp and crossing her arms against one another. "I have my ways to find it out."

I grasped her wrist again, this time tighter while she looked at my hands.

"Is this how a Commander like you talks to civilians like us?"

"No. But I don't mind doing it if you're a suspect." I said smiling, as she hissed and threw my hand back while she massaged her wrists.

My eyes loomed over her wrists as it turned red and marked by my fingers. "You don't know how to fight," I mumbled when she grunted.

"What's with you? Are you done or not? You don't have any right to interrogate me." She hissed, turning her back, and continued, "If I wish to find something it's not hard. Nothing is secret in this world. And, finding out about your operation today, naturally wasn't hard." I frowned, gazing down while she took a few steps and she added, "I just wish to escape this marriage and this darned family that pushed me to all this."

My eyes shifted to the other side as I pondered about the members who were included in this mission. There should be a mole. Otherwise, how could this operation be leaked? No matter if it's a slip of the tongue or a mole, I won't give them any mercy.

Even a university girl like her found out about this mission, this was such a disgrace!

"Lydia-" I called out as I glanced upward when I watched her disappearing figure. "Fuck, I was so absorbed in thoughts that I let her go."

But, this was the first time something like this happened. I need to check this carefully, her, and how she was able to talk as well.

Lydia:

My heart leaped a beat as I exited the banquet hall, and hurried inside a cab.

"That was so infuriating!" I hissed, throwing my heels roughly while I massaged my ankles. It was dangerous and impulsive. Yet, I got over this time but if this happened again, I don't know what's going to happen. And, after today's events, Sebastian is bound to run an investigation on me.

I need to behave more like Lydia Quinn so as not to raise any suspicion. Though no one would have ever thought that I would be reborn. Not even the killer. I clutched onto my fingers as I glanced out of the window. "I have to find out who you are, and kill you." I said, clenching through my teeth as I scoffed, "I have so many to take revenge on. For me, and her."

I had to figure out how to find my killer. That voice… he indeed sounded familiar. Was he among those in the organization? No. I may need to join under Sebastian's wings. Only that would ensure my safety and my revenge.

"No, no need to rush. I still need to look into more options." I mumbled, nodding to myself when the car stopped, at my university.

I hurried inside my university hostel room when I found none of my roommates inside.

"Perfect." I smiled at myself as I ripped the wedding gown from me, and cleaned myself up before I wore a comfortable dress.

"Finally, this seems fine!" I sighed while I stretched my arms. All of this happened in a day, unbelievable.

I shook my thoughts while I looked at myself in the mirror and traced my fingers on my face gently, amusedly.

"She looks so much like me," I said in awe while I massaged my cheeks, and then a frown adorned my face.

Is there a reason behind why we look so alike? And, even our names are the same? Is she my twin…? I frowned, my heart beating fast at the possibility.

For as long as I can recall, I was at the orphanage and was later bought into the organizer, trained to be an assassin. There were no memories of my parents, any siblings, anyone. Just me alone, trying to survive with my will.

My lips parted as I was lost in a trance while a drop of tear fell unconsciously. Was Lydia Quinn my sister? Then, who am I? Just, who am I?

I massaged my head as I tried to recall Lydia's childhood, but it was futile. "For some reason, I can't access her childhood memories. It's as if it's sealed away."

I frowned, pondering deeply as I massaged my head on the acupoints, trying to relax while I took a few deep breaths.

"Just what is happening? Are any of these things related, or am I just overthinking?" I asked myself when I heard a knock on the door while I got up from the bed.

"Who is it?" I asked but it was all silent. As I went toward the door, I looked through the door hole and watched Sebastian waiting for me to open the door.

I shrugged my shoulders, shaking my head. "Looks like I can't escape his interrogation."
