I'm Edwin Wood. I was born in an ordinary family in France. My father was French, and my mother is American. So, I'm a half-blooded race. But people who saw me think I was American and not very French.

I had a sister who had inherited our father's character perfectly. Unlike me, she was an utterly French child.
