The moment they let their guard down, Shinji signaled to his men.
Yuuto who was looking at the system notifications suddenly felt killing intent.
He tried to locate the intent but failed because it was from fourteen different places.
But he can at least tell that the intent wasn't focused on him.
Suddenly, many fast-moving arrows flew toward Asuna.
Yuuto saw the arrows and quickly made a water dome around her.
The group were surprised by the sneak attack but quickly adapted and got into their stance.
"Thanks" Asuna gratefully said to Yuuto
"Don't worry about it, you should be more focus on the enemies"
She made a quick pout at his reply but knew he was right.
The thirteen assassins jumped out of their hiding spot, each of them had two blades in their hands.
They were wearing black ninja clothes that covered their body and face.
'My plan will go perfectly! Nothing will get in my way now, I'm a genius! Hahahaha!' Shinji silently laughed inside his mind.
But it didn't go like how he expected… All the assassins fell down to the ground as blood flowed out of their corpse.
Shinji unconsciously let out a confused sound.
"Eh?"
Yuuto looked at the dead assassins,
'Well that was easy'
The moment they revealed their position, their fate was already determined.
Yuuto created a water spear behind all the assassins and stabbed them from behind.
He purposely left three alive to investigate them.
"What just happened?" Takeshi asked
It wasn't just Shinji who was confused, everyone was, except for Yuuto.
"I killed them"
He quickly gathered all the assassins that were alive and bound them with rope made out of water.
"Wait! Please don't kill me! I have a daughter at home, I'll do anything!" One of the assassins begged Yuuto.
"Um...As long as you tell me who hired you then I let you live"
Hearing that, Shinji shivered.
"It was him!" The assassin points at Shinji.
The other assassins also joined in.
"He said he will pay us 100 gold coins each!"
"Yes it was him!"
Everyone looked at the culprit, Shinji suddenly felt his teigu vibrate. He didn't even bother to activate it and started running.
"Too late"
Shinji's head fell down to the ground.
Yuuto already knew it was him since he detected killing intent coming from him, at the beginning.
But he needed evidence or the others wouldn't believe him.
The three assassins quickly ran away when Yuuto unbinded the rope.
"Thanks, I would have been dead if you weren't here" Asuna bowed toward Yuuto.
"Hahaha! She's right! You're a nicer guy than I thought!" Takeshi patted Yuuto back.
"It's fine"
"Oh yea, we haven't got your name yet"
Yuuto raised his eyebrows.
"I'm Arthur"
Yuuto decided to use a fake name instead.
Inside the forest, the three assassins was heading back to their base
"I can't believe there was such a monster alive"
"We're really lucky to still be alive right now"
"Yea...I'm gonna report to the boss"
"Hahaha! I can't believe he thought that I had a daughter"
"..."
"Huh?"
All three of them then exploded into a rain of blood.
Back to Yuuto.
He looked out the window from his carriage as he used his power.
Even though he couldn't control water that was already in the human body or else he could kill everyone, when the water spear stabbed them, he left some water inside their body.
And just like that, their dead.
When they got back to the Guild, they reported all that happen which include Shinji betrayal
"So how will you guys share the dragon corpse?" The Guild master asked.
They looked at each other for a moment before Asuna spoke.
"I think Arthur should get 50%"
They thought about it for a moment before agreeing.
"I agree"
"Me too"
"I would think you guys were crazy if I didn't listen to the report. Since everyone agrees then 50% of the corpse now belongs to Arthur and 11.25% to each of you guys. Come back 3 days later for the reward"
The day passed by quietly for Yuuto but it was not for others, rumors of his achievement spread throughout the kingdom and he was now officially an S-rank Hunter.
Everything was going according to Yuuto's plan.
3 days later, he went to the Hunter Guild to collect his reward. He revealed his inventory ability since he couldn't carry everything back, they already knew about his ability to make swords appear out of nowhere so they thought it was the same ability.
After he got back, he opened the system.
He assigned all his 40 attribute points and upgraded his sharingan.

Yuuto got up and walked to the door as he got into his position.
He opened the door and saw a mailman.
"Are you Mr.Arthur?"
"Yes"
"This letter here is for you"
Yuuto took the letter from the mailman's hand.
"Thanks"
He sighed in relief after the mailman walked away then looked at the letter in his right hand.
He didn't know what this letter was about. So the only way to find out is opening it.
'Good Morning Mr.Arthur, you have been invited to a new special police force, called the Jaegers. It job is to hunt down dangerous traitors, you will be serving under General Esdeath, if you accept then please shows this letter to the guard in the next 2 days'
A grin appeared on his face.
"The Jaegers...interesting"
Since it will help him get closer to the emperor, he'll accept it.

I'm planning on doing a new novel soon, I'll give you a quick summary of what the novel going to be about.
The MC job is to kill/save transmigrators depend on how they will affect future timeline in that world. It should be fun, I hope...I'm planning to add the gamer ability into that novel too but I'm not sure…
That is the basic idea I have for now, maybe I'll change it later.
