"-always...A...loser!" Zero shielded his face with his arm's as a fist repeatedly came down on it. he was on the cusp of passing out when he suddenly heard a ring in his ear. He opened his eye by a crack to see what he could only describe as a black floating square.

Zero was confused by the black screen and was trying to figure out what it meant when his vision was suddenly turned to black.

Zero suddenly awoke, to find he was in the nurse's office. He sat up, clenching his teeth in pain. "STUPID CHILD! WHO SAID YOU COULD GET UP YET!" Zero looked over at the nurse that was yelling at him. "Sorry about that Mr. Gleeson." Zero had been through here on multiple occasion's, so he had become friend's with the nurse. "I thought I told you to not come see me, or better yet, send the fool's that keep sending you here to me."

Zero knew Mr. Gleeson had finished his four year's of schooling before instantly becoming the school nurse, so the way he spoke was that of a normal high schooler's. "You know you could get fired for telling a student to beat other kid's up." "yeah right! I only tell you that, so I know who I would be turning into paste if I was to fired for it." Zero laughed with him as he suddenly remembered what he had distracted him from the beating.

Zero started thinking about the black square when it suddenly appeared Infront of him, causing him to flinch back. "Hey, do you see this?" Mr. Gleeson looked over at him as he pointed towards the black square. He raised his eye-brow in question, "See what?" "The black square floating right Infront of me?" The nurse seemed worried as he stood from his seat to stand Infront of Zero.

"Open your eye's wide for me and follow the light." Zero did as he asked, causing him to sigh in relief. "It doesn't seem like you have a concussion, however I would take it easy for a while." Zero was extremally confused. He knew concussion's could show Radom hallucination's, however he had never heard of them being this vivid before. "The power of the Reaper of soul's?"

as soon as the word's left his mouth, Zero suddenly found himself in a completely white area that went on as far as the eye could see. "So I can't even die in death." Zero whipped around, startled by the sudden voice, only to find a young man standing in a all white robes. "E-Excuse me... am i dead?" He said the first thing that came to his head, and he realized he sounded like an idiot.

The man looked at him and smiled, an action Zero knew wasn't genuine. "No, you are not dead. You are simply in a place were we can speak freely." Zero was confused, but decided to nod his understanding as he wanted to listen to what he had to say. The man started to speak once more. "My name is Fykin. I was known as the Reaper Of Soul's. Now that I have died, my power has been given to another."

Zero had a million and one question's flying through his mind, and Fykin could tell. "I am telling you this simply so you can prepare yourself. My power was great, meaning your life is going to suddenly change. Whether you use the power I give you for good, or evil, it does not matter to me. however you should know this, due to your power, many will try to control you. I suggest you bend to the will of no-one, because you will regret it." Zero blinked, suddenly finding he sitting back on the nurse's cot.

"What did you say?" Zero looked up to find Mr. Gleeson looking at him with a questioning gaze. "Um... nothing, i was simply thinking about going home to eat food." Zero watched as Mr. G rolled his eye's and started typing into his computer. *Bing* Zero heard the familiar ring in his ear, and saw that another Square appeared in his vision.

Zero fell back word's as his entire body erupted in pain. "ARGGGHHH!" He started to convulse on the cot. the pain was so back that he didn't feel the hand's that appeared on his body. Zero's vision went black as he passed out, the pain he was in to much for his mind to handle.

Zero opened his eyes, to find he was now laying in a hospital bed. 'How did i get here?' Zero looked around, finding the room was a single bed Hospital room. '!! This is going to cost a fortune!' Zero panicked as he was currently living with his grandmother, and they were both only getting enough money to survive from the Government. *Ring, Ring* Zero looked over to find his cracked cellphone laying on the table to his right.

He picked up the phone as it read his grandmother's name in the caller ID. "Hello?" "Zero!! I just got a call that you're in the hospital! What happened!" Zero couldn't help but curse the school, as they no doubt called 911 when he suddenly started convulsing. "I'm fine Grandma, you don't have to worry. I passed out, and the next thing i knew i was laying in a hospital bed. If yo-" The call suddenly cut out as he was talking.

"Grandma? Grandma?!" Zero pulled back the phone to find it was completely dark. Just as he was about to reach for his backpack, which was on the seat beside him, there was shouting through the hospital. Zero's attention was drawn to the hall as he could see people racing back and forth past his small glass window. 'Why are they so frantic?' Zero got out of his bed and walked over to the door before opening it. "Hello?" None of the rapidly moving people heard him.

As he was about to take a step out of his room, there was a sudden scream before everyone slowed to look at the direction it came from. Zero leaned out, only to watch in horror as a women laying on the ground started being ripped apart by nothing. 'What?!' there was an ear piercing sound before more and more people started to fall to the ground before there limb's were ripped away. Zero quickly closed the door before backing away. *Thump!* Zero's head whipped to the large window to find a creature Zero could only describe as prehistoric was staring at him through the window.
