God Of Rest And Regeneration

Zero looked up at Tyler and smiled. "Unfortunately, I only have two Sponsors that are currently interested in me while having none that want to sponsor me at the moment. The two names currently showing interest in me are, <God Of Rest And Regeneration>, and <Keeper Of The Dice Of Time>. Would they be able to tell me about them?" Tyler looked over to his left, before turning back to Zero with a confused look on his face.

"The first one is obviously my Sponsor, however they are saying they have never heard of this Sponsor." Zero feigned shock, as well as a small amount of betrayal. "I thought you said they were able to tell me about my Sponsors, Were you simply trying to get information on me?!" Zero stood from were he was sitting before slowly backing up to the door. Tyler looked between Zero, the door, and what Zero figured was the window that had appeared.

Zero's back had just made contact with the wooden door when Tyler finally spoke in a hurried tone. "Wait! My Sponsor did not mean to deceive you, and wishes to provide you with compensation for not being able to uphold their end of the bargain."

-Notice-

<God Of Rest And Regeneration> would like to offer the Host <20,000> souls as payment for the uncompleted transaction. Would the Host like to accept the offer?

(Yes) (No)

Zero instantly thought about accepting it, before he realized something. 'Window, is there any other issues with receiving souls from a Sponsor without making a contract with them?'

-Notice-

Information has currently been-

Zero groaned so loud that even Tyler heard it. 'Window, take 500 souls and tell me the information, and know I'm not giving out anymore souls for information, block me forever if you must.'

-Notice-

<500> souls have been used to purchase Information. Host currently has <4789> souls remaining.

-Notice-

Sponsors are able to offer potential sponsored Hosts goods and services. Any stipulations stated will glow and will be shown to the Host before they accept the offer.

Zero nodded and clicked (Yes) to accept the deal, a window appearing once more.

-Notice-

Host currently has <20,000> unclaimed Souls. rewards and Souls must be taken from the window within an <167-59-59> minutes of the time received. If Host would like to claim the rewards or Souls, touch the Window and will the rewards or Souls to be claimed.

-Notice-

Due to the size of the amount of unclaimed Souls, the Host is able to continue to make contact with the Window for the Souls to be discreetly absorbed into the Host.

Zero followed what the window said and placed his hand on the Window, Both Tyler and Zero watching as it disappeared up to his wrist. Zero felt as though he had plunged his hand into ice cold water before the counter on the edge of his vision started rapidly rising. 'So it goes directly through my arm and into my chest, instead of going straight to my chest, fancy way to hide it.'

Zero lost his tense figure before taking a hesitant step towards the bench once more. "I suppose that will make up for the information. It was a very generous offer, however I must ask. If a Sponsor is able to give out such a large amount of souls, wouldn't those that get a good Sponsor pull away from those Hosts that don't start with an ability?" Tyler looked at the window before speaking again.

"My Sponsor says that Sponsors are able to give there sponsored Hosts rewards and souls without having to pay the Windows a large tax. However in return for that, the amount of rewards they are able to deliver are heavily reduced and there is a cool down between what they can give." Zero nodded at the free information he had just received and fished for more. "How high is the tax to give an unsponsored Host items?"

"They are saying 90% of offered souls will be taken, and giving anything other then souls will cost a minimum of 100,000 souls and only get higher from there." Zero looked shocked at that comment. 'They used 200,000 souls to send me 20,000!' Zero nodded at Tyler as he spoke. "Thank your Sponsor for me."

Zero and Tyler spent another hour simply catching up on what each of them had done after finding out the world had gone to hell. "So you spent the last multiple days practically locked up in this school?" Tyler shrugged. "I'm a healer, I have no place out there fighting Goblins as you have." Zero nodded. He had told Tyler the bare minimum of what he had done until he made it to this school. "So you were at the event at the zoo?"

Zero looked up at Tyler from were he was thinking to himself. "My clothes?" Tyler nodded while smiling. "The symbol everywhere on your clothes is a pretty clear indicator. Plus, from what I have heard and you have told me. There is no way for you to kill Goblins to get 4,000 odd souls if your digit breaks after every use." Zero laughed at his words. Zero would have been sad if Tyler suddenly lost his wits. "Your right, I did participate in the event at the zoo, and it presented me with a reward for doing so. Say, a Sponsor can see all of us right? like a game show?" Tyler said he guessed it as well and motioned for Zero to continue.

"Then what stops a Sponsor from simply ratting on everyone to there sponsored Hosts?" Tyler over at what Zero figured was another window, only for him to look back. "My Sponsor isn't speaking..." Zero shrugged his answer of and asked the Window. 'Window, what stops a Sponsor from ratting on everyone to there sponsored Hosts?'

-Notice-

Information will be unlocked once the Host acquires the required amount of souls.
