Krishna opened the letter, his eyes scanning through the content quickly. Gradually, a dark look crept across his face. He slowly placed the letter on the table and took a deep breath. Arjun and the others, sensing the shift in his mood, asked him what the matter was.
"There has been an attack on my kingdom by a neighboring state," Krishna replied gravely. "I am called back immediately. My presence is required."
A heavy silence fell over the group. Krishna sighed, trying to find some light in the situation. "Well, what can we do? We have the mighty Balaram and several dedicated and strong soldiers. I can be positive."
Everyone was gloomy and sad, worried about their friend. But Krishna, ever the optimist, laughed to lighten the mood. "I'll be learning magic there. My parents have arranged for some teachers, even though there is no Gurukul there. I will come back stronger than ever. So you guys get strong here, and when I return, we shall see who is the strongest. Challenge?"
Everyone smiled at his challenge. "Accepted," they chorused. Bheem, with his usual aggressiveness, shouted, "I will become the strongest!" Everyone laughed, the tension easing a bit.
That night, everyone went to bed with mixed feelings. The next morning, they gathered to bid Krishna farewell. His vimaan, a majestic flying vehicle, gradually rose, taking him towards his kingdom. They waved until he was out of sight, already missing their friend.
