Into The Unknown

A figure materialized before him—a boy, not much older than himself, with eyes that held a depth of knowledge far beyond his years. He extended a hand, strong and steady, and said "its good that you woke up, you are quite the sleeper!" with a smile on his face.

As, the blurred vision began to become clearer, Arjun saw a tall boy, with a lean yet muscular physique, who seemed slightly older than him, with deep blue eyes that seemed to hold the mysteries of the universe, his skin glowed with a bronze undertone, as if kissed by the sun, and his wavy jet-black hair framed his sharp, angular face, cascading down to his shoulders. He was probably the most handsome men Arjun had ever seen, no definitely!!. He was slightly older than Arjun, lean yet with a muscular frame that spoke of strength beneath his calm demeanor.

The boy helped Arjun to his feet, and introduced himself "Hi, i am Kisna." His voice resonated a calm demeanor that made people want to listen. Then he immediately asked Arjun "Who the hell are you and why couldn't I sense your presence?"

Arjun still in awe slowly answered with a question "What, what just happened!?, what are you talking about?, where am I ? and why don't you tell me who you are first!?"

Krishna answered" i am Kishna the prince of Dwarka and you are currently in my State, now why don't you answer!"

Arjun didn't answer, instead his face got even more confused as he remembered studying a state named Dwarka in ancient mythology, which got separated and reunited several times in future to form different states one of which was Delhi, where Arjun lived.

Arjun in an angry yet confused face said" stop messing with me, that state has stopped being in existence since centuries, tell me the truth.

Krishna replied" if you think that is so, then why dont you look around yourself!"

Arjun shifted his attention from Kisna and looked around, to his surprise, his surroundings were a spectacle of wonder and disbelief. Gone were the familiar sights of Delhi; instead, he beheld people moving in carriages with horses, on the road, which wasn't a road per se, it was just straightened land. High-rise buildings towered above, their architecture blending modernity with an ancient allure. people moving on the nearby streets wearing long robes embroidered with mystical patterns which fluttered as they walked, while others wore sturdy outfits fitted with belts holding vials, scrolls, or weapons.

Before Arjun could fully comprehend his surroundings all at once, , a wave of dizziness overcame him, and he fainted once more.

When Arjun regained consciousness, he found himself in a grand chamber reminiscent of ancient royal quarters. The room exuded a sense of timeless majesty, adorned with intricate carvings and tapestries that whispered tales of a bygone era.

A glass of water slowly floated toward him, guided by an unseen force, and settled gently into his hands. Beside him stood Krishna, unchanged in his calmness and composure.

"Drink this," Krishna suggested with a hint of humor, "before you faint again. It seems to be a recurring theme."

Arjun, still reeling from the shock of his surroundings, silently obeyed and drank the water. As the cool liquid soothed his throat, he gathered his thoughts and found the courage to speak "My name is Arjun, and i don't know what is happening to me!"

"Who are you really? his voice betraying a mix of awe and confusion. "Where are we, and what just happened?"- Arjun said.

Krishna regarded him with a knowing smile, as though anticipating these questions. "Before I explain where we are," he began in his measured tone, "let me repeat and introduce myself properly this time, "my name is Kisna and I am the prince of Dwarka."

he said "We just jumped through a portal," Krishna continued, unaffected by Arjun's surprise. "That's why you fainted. It's a common reaction for first-timers. But I must admit, I'm puzzled why I couldn't sense you earlier. Mages can easily detect non-magical users like yourself."

Arjun took a deep breath, trying to process the whirlwind of information. "A portal, non mage, what are you talking about?" he asked, struggling to comprehend the enormity of what had just transpired.

"Yes, a portal," Krishna affirmed calmly. "You've crossed into a world where magic is real, where ancient myths and modern marvels coexist. This realm has remained hidden from Normals(what their world calls non-mages) like you for centuries, protected by what we call the Veil."

Arjun listened intently, his mind racing with questions yet to be voiced. "The Veil?" he prompted, his curiosity piqued by Krishna's enigmatic words.

"The Veil is a barrier that separates our world from yours," Krishna explained patiently. To understand it, you need to hear a story first, and it goes like...
