As an ordinary college sophomore student, Alec Norman always focused on making sure he get good grades to graduate in flying colours. While Alec's school project demanded that he bought a Virtual Reality headset, he stumbled on a pawn shop and met an old man who gifted him a retro VR headset, a headset which he accepted begrudgingly. What he didn't know was that the VR headset he brought to his home would change the way he understood reality forever. Inspired from the novel 48 Hours a Day!
The forces below kept shooting at Alec and his crew, and Alec struggled to pull the helicopter off the ground and to the air. This was much more difficult than the small plane.
"Uhh Alec, look!" Falcon said with an alarmed tone as he pointed ahead with widened eyes. Alec looked at where he pointed, and his blood dried out.
Hold on, Alec remembered that guy. He was the one that was assigned to him the day that he met John Gottowt. He saw his rage when he saved John from dying, but since then, he hasn't seen him. Probably he escaped the riot the moment it started.
He mounted an RPG on his shoulder and aimed it at the hovering helicopter and curled his lips. The aircraft wasn't high enough to fly, and what's worse, it was dangerously close to the camp.
"We are going to die!" John cried out. Alec pulled the control stick, causing the helicopter to jerk backward. The guard chuckled in disdain and released the missile.
