Stop the Damn Car!

Alec felt his consciousness faze in and out of the blackness. It was different from the feeling of beginning a mission. After what seemed like forever, Alec finally regained full consciousness, but his head was aching terribly.

When his hearing returned to him, he noticed that he was still in the VR game section of the amusement park. He still felt the VR headset on his face as the game he was playing before ended with a "YOU DIED" banner floating in the air.

Alec removed the headset agitatedly and looked around. "Dad", he muttered in his breath. He saw him still playing the game with a terrified expression on the portion of his face he could see.

"And… I'm done!", Kenzie announced and pried off the headset from her face. Her face was flushed due to the adrenaline rush. Alec turned to look at Sophia and saw that she had removed her headset, her eyes bloodshot.
