The Reality Game
As an ordinary college sophomore student, Alec Norman always focused on making sure he get good grades to graduate in flying colours. While Alec's school project demanded that he bought a Virtual Reality headset, he stumbled on a pawn shop and met an old man who gifted him a retro VR headset, a headset which he accepted begrudgingly. What he didn't know was that the VR headset he brought to his home would change the way he understood reality forever. Inspired from the novel 48 Hours a Day!
Sadly Late
Lester stared at the smartphone with a smile. He swiped at the photos of Greg and Ella, with their two kids smiling at the camera. He kept swiping, and when it seemed that these photos were not going to end, he switched off the phone and stared at the terrified Ella and the two children who was also horrified.
"911? You could have done better", Lester said without smiling. "Please, I'm begging you, find and take the chip, but don't hurt us", Ella said, her eyes glistening with tears. Lester glanced at his security with a raised brow.
The security bodyguard seemed to understand the gesture, and used his fist and hit Ella on her cheeks. "Mommy!" Mike scremed and ran over to cuddle Ella.
Ella spat a mouthful of blood, along with two teeths to the floor. Being a delicate woman that she was, she was prone to be easily injured, even a small fall could cause her serious injury.
