While Alec's school project demanded that he bought a Virtual Reality headset, he stumbled on a pawn shop and met an old man who gifted him a retro VR headset, a headset which he accepted begrudgingly. What he didn't know was that the VR headset he brought to his home would change the way he understood reality forever. Inspired from the novel 48 Hours a Day!
During one of his intense gameplay, someone knocked on his door, and without waiting for a reply, the person walked in. Alec couldn't pause the game, so he had to put his character in where they won't kill him and removed his headset.
He turned to see who it was. It was Alan. "Dude, it's already past nine, and you haven't even eaten your breakfast", Alan scolded.
"So?" Alec asked, raising his brow. "So you gotta eat. By the way, mum, dad, and my cousins are heading to the amusement park to wind up. You coming?" Alan said enthusiastically. "Uhm, I don't think that I'm…"
Alan interrupted him with his hands on his shoulder. "Come on man. I get that we are still strangers to you, but we are still family, and family takes each other to fun places. Come on", Alan tried to convince him.
"As I said, I…", Alec still wanted to decline, but Alan's gasp made him pause. "What is it?" Alec asked flatly. "Is that the beta version of Call of Duty?" He asked with widened eyes.
