Forgiveness and Restrictions

Alec's eyes dilated at the sudden judgement. He looked at Philani, but he was looking away. "My king, I..."

He was interrupted by the sudden uproar. "How dare you!" were the words being thrown around. Then the kind sat up and pointed his hands at Alec. "Don't ever call me your king. Take him to the execution chamber", the king ordered the guard at the back of Alec.

Alright, screw this.

Alec stood up and walked two steps to the king. The guards pointed their arrow fitted sticks towards Alec, but Alec was undeterred. "I would like to know what "my kind" did, please", Alec said with a flat tone.

"Total disrespect for the king!"

Alec ignored the comments and looked at the king, then to Philani, who wore a shocked expression. "You dare stand up during a cour session?" The king said with gritted teeth.

"You gave me a death sentence, so whether I liked it or not, I was going to die anyway, but please, give me the chance to know what my kind did", Alec requested in the native language.
