As an ordinary college sophomore student, Alec Norman always focused on making sure he get good grades to graduate in flying colours. While Alec's school project demanded that he bought a Virtual Reality headset, he stumbled on a pawn shop and met an old man who gifted him a retro VR headset, a headset which he accepted begrudgingly. Everyone knew that something was amiss when the guards opened the doors an hour early before the usual time and forced every inmates out of the cell. Alec, no less than the four players were escorted to the open space, the place they were taken to a day before.
Alec stood next to Fox, while the remaining were silently chatting to each other. Just then, someone tapped him on his left, prompting him to look over.
"You understand English?" The prisoner asked. "And so?" Alec asked dryly. "Nothing. I've been watching you, and you kind of look like a player. Are you?" The prisoner asked innocently.
Alec's blood ran cold. He double took the prisoner again, and saw that he was looking at him straight in his eyes. His eyes were dark and mysterious, and gave that aura that he was looking at your soul.
