Misa, An angel in disguise

"Welcome home, brother."

"What are you doing? Why are you handling a knife?"

"Relax brother, I'm just chopping the vegetables."

"Oh, right. Sorry. I'm just wondering why are you handling a knife. It is dangerous to handle a knife so, you must be careful."

"You are kinda weird today, brother. Are you alright?"

"Uh--- I'm fine, Yuri. I'm just reminding you to be careful handling a knife out of nowhere."

"Yes, brother. I understand."

"Then, what are you cooking?"

"I'm cooking your favorite dish! It's chicken curry"

I smiled at her and pat her head. She was not changing at all since she was little.

"Is there any problem, brother?"

"Nope. Nothing! Thank you for delicious chicken curry."

"But it's not finished *pout* why are you saying it is delicious if you still not taste it?"

"All of your dishes are delicious for me. I love your foods and it is much delicious than the others, okay?"

"Uh--- is that so? Thank you, brother. I'll do my best of my best for you brother hehe."

"Do you want my help, Yuri?"

"Nope. I can cook on my own, brother and you looked so tired today. I want you to be relaxed on my food.

"Thank you, Yuri. I'll wait for your food, I'll just sit here and watch your cooking, okay?"

After having dinner with Yuri, I take a bath and fall asleep already because I have work by tomorrow. I was in a deep sleep then someone wakes me up; it was my little sister Yuri.

"It's still early, Yuri. Five minutes more, please."

"You already said that for the tenth time. You should get up right now if you don't want to be late for your work!"

"Yes, yes. I'll get up."

"Brother, you should get up right now! The breakfast is already served at the kitchen."

"Yes, thank you for the breakfast, Yuri!"

I saw her smiling and giggling whenever I praise and compliment her. I went to the kitchen and we eat breakfast together with Yuri. It was Saturday today, my day today is full of work, and thanks to my little sister, I have more time on my work rather than our house chores because she tells me that she was already in charge of the house chores and she also tells me that I need to focus on my works. I'm on my work at the convenience store and I have a customer that is a pretty girl; it was Misa.

"Good morning, Misa."

"Uh—Good morning too, Yuu. Are you working here?"

"Yes. I'm just a part-timer here. Why are you too early today? We don't have class either."

"I'm just trolling around and I also wanted to go to the supermarket to buy ingredients for our meal. My cousin went to our house and she decided to have a meal with my parents. She just came back here to our town."

"I did not know you have a cousin who is somewhere else."

"Uh---Sorry. I forgot to mention this to you for a long time. You already met her."

Misa is one of my childhood friends and we barely talk at school because she was too busy with her works. Misa is pretty and popular with everyone because of her looks and also she's too smart. She's the secretary of the student council and most of her time she needs to do the works if she does not want to pile her works. While having a conversation with Misa, I feel the dark aura behind Mira I decided to ignore it. I focused on her face and she was smiling while having chitchat; she's still the same as before.

"What are you both doing?"

When I heard her I was startled; it was Akuma. I was wondering when did she enter here in the convenience store, I did not see her open the door and I don't hear any footsteps when she entered. She was looking at me strangely. I rub my eyes because I thought I am seeing things again. When I rubbed my two eyes, I saw her smiling gently, am I tired right now? I'm seeing strange things again even it is still morning.

"When did you come, Akuma? I did not notice you enter here."

"I enter here a while ago. Why are you here, Misa?"

"Eh--- do you know each other, Misa?"

"I told you, you already met her. She's my cousin, her name is Akuma."

Ah, that's why when I first saw Akuma she looked like someone; she looked like my childhood friend, Misa. They both have long black hair but their eyes are different. The color of Misa's eyes is black while the color of Akuma's eyes is red. They both look mysterious but they are both pretty and cute.

"Why are you here, Misa? Auntie and Uncle are waiting to come you home. You went outside even it's too early."

"I just wanted a troll and how did you find me here in the convenience store?"

"It's just a coincidence. I went to the park to have a jogging"

It's a lie that I went to the park to have jogging because I know Yuu will wake up every Saturday at 4:30 am because it was his shift here at the convenience store. I already know that Misa will go here to the convenience store because I always see her watching Yuu for a long time even though she was busy at her work as a secretary of the student council. I know Misa a lot because Misa and I grew up together and we treat each other as a sibling but not this time. This time she'll know where she belonged, no one can take Yuu. Yuu did not know that I am one of his childhood friends including Misa.

"I'm sorry, Yuu but we need to go. Let's chat another time"

"Sure. No problem, Misa. It's nice to talk to you again, hope to talk to you again just like before."

"Sure. I'll drop by your house sometime. See you!"

Before they leave the convenience store; Misa was brightly smiling like an angel while I notice Akuma was looking at Misa, she had deadly eyes towards Misa. I rubbed my eyes again and when I looked again for the second time she was smiling brightly; they look like an angel above the sky. They left in the convenience store and I continued to work.

"Why are you watching Yuu, Misa?"

"I did tell you for a long time, Akuma. You don't remember?"

"Remember what? What's that all about?"

"I told you before we went to high school that Yuu is mine. His only mine."

"Don't you dare to touch him by your filthy hands"

"You don't have any right to tell me what will I do to Yuu. We treat each other as a sibling, right?"

"Tsk. Do what you want but I'll make sure that you can't take him!"

I leave Misa behind and I went home. I know Misa for a long time she'll do everything just to take what she wanted.

I remember the time when she had a crush when we're in middle school; since she loved that person, she's always watching him. The name of that person is Ikki, they start dating at that time but after seven months she found out that her partner was cheating on her. I heard that Ikki decided to date Misa because she was popular and smart, he just wanted to be recognized by Misa's fans. Misa also found out that the other woman that Ikki's dating is her best friend; Ichigo. She betrayed by her best friend and her partner cheated on her, Misa's life is miserable and complicated. When we're in middle school I was often at their house and sometimes I prefer to sleep with Misa. Sometimes her parents are not staying at their house because of their work. One night, in the middle of the night I saw Misa was walking on the street, it was dark outside. I quietly followed her and I was thinking that night where she's going? I followed her and she stopped at the front of the house but I did not recognize that house because it was dark outside but I notice Misa was handling a black bag. I noticed the bag because of some light of the flashlight.

"So, this is her house huh. This is your time."

What does mean those words? Misa was getting weird. Misa sneaks at the front door, it was opened. I followed her before she went upstairs she gets something in her black bag. She quickly went to the room upstairs and I heard someone is crying.

"Why are you doing this?"

"It was payback. Don't ask me a silly question."

"You such------------"

I went to that room and I saw Misa handling a butcher's knife with a cover of blood slashing the head of Ichigo. The room was cover with blood and I also saw another head; it was the head of Ikki. I looked at Misa, her face is cover with blood also her hands. I witness how Misa tortured her best friend and partner.

"Why are you here, Akuma?"

"I saw you. You went outside in the middle of the night."

"Is that so? I think I should be more careful when I leave. Sorry for disturbing your sleep."

I don't know why I'm so calm talking to Misa even I saw what she did. She killed two persons who betrayed her and I understand her pain.

"It's fine. What's this all about?"

"Oh, are you shocked when you witness all of this? Are you going to report this to the police officers?"

"No. Why would I do that?"

"Eh---- I just killed two persons, you see?"

"Then?"

"This is murder!"

"So? I don't understand what's your point but it's not your fault if they're killed because they are the ones who betrayed you."

"Do you understand my pain?"

"I understand you well. Could I borrow your butcher's knife?"

I went towards Misa, I pat her head and she gives her knife to me. The knife is cover with filthy blood of Ikki and Ichigo.

"What will you do to that knife?"

"I just wanted to enjoy what we have tonight. This room has a great sight!"

I grab the head of Ikki and I removed his filthy eyes. His eyes are too beautiful but gross! He was peeping by the Girl's lock room without knowing other people, He's such a pervert and he deserved to die! I put down the head of Ikki on the floor and I started to chopped his head. I enjoyed what I am doing right now but Misa stopped me.

"Akuma, you should stop right now."

I stopped like what she told me. I release the butcher's knife on my hands and put my both hands into my face. I looked at Misa and smile at her, my face is cover with Ikki's blood. It feels good whenever I chopped the head of Ikki, it gives pleasure and satisfaction.

"I'm just started, Misa. It feels good while I'm chopping the head of Ikki."

"We need to clean this mess before we caught."

"Oh, right. Sorry Misa, I think I lose my control."

"Let's put their filthy bodies into the trash bag."

I put their bodies into the trash bag while Misa is cleaning the bloodstain in the room. Before we leave we decided to take a shower to remove the blood on our body and to discard all of the evidence even our clothes. We get some old clothes from Ichigo and wear them even we don't want to. We went to the mountain to burn the clothes and bodies of Ikki and Ichigo. No one will find out that Misa killed Ikki and Ichigo; also I'm involved in this incident.

"Ah—I clearly remember how Misa slaughter Ikki and Ichigo until now no one finds out that they were dead."

I'm just reminiscing about that incident and it's getting boring. I'm here in my room staring at the pictures of Yuu, the pictures are paste on the wall and ceiling and it feels like Yuu is everywhere. He was smiling everywhere and his smile is genuine. Since I'm getting bored right now; I went downstairs and entered the other room.
