Blaze didn't need his help, but still Frore wanted to lessen the burden on him. 

Both of them let their guards down at that moment and Blaze suddenly became a lot slower.

["A debuff has been casted . Speed has been decreased by 80% for 5 minutes."]

"...!" Blaze's eyes opened wide as soon as he heard that notification. He turned around , shit! i was too careless.

"What's wrong?" Frore asked.

"Frore, DODGE--!"

A knife was targeted towards Frore's chest from behind. 

Even if a debuff was casted on him, Blaze's speed was still enough to push Frore out of the way, of the attack.

"Thank goodness! you weren't hurt." Blaze said that while holding onto Frore's shoulder.

And, then he felt a slight prick from his stomach. Frore's eyes opened wide,"...BLAZE!"

A knife pierced through his stomach, he was stabbed instead.

"It's fine. Don't worry , it's only a stab wou--", before Blaze could complete the word 'wound' he fell forward. 

What the hell!? Why do i feel so...dizzy...? But, that can't be , SS- rank hunters don't get affected by normal stabs and poison..

Frore quickly opened his arms and caught him.

"WHAT.DID.YOU.DO.TO.HIM?"

Frore glared at Yena with intense killing intent. He asked because, he too knew that no simple attack or poison, would work on Blaze.

Yena didn't answer him , but kept looking at Blaze with an astonished and cold expression. Frore put his hand on the back of Blaze's head protectively and just continued to glare at her.

Then after a few moments she said in a low voice, "How...how are you still alive? That poison is enough to kill an A- ranked hunter in a few seconds and make an S-rank scream with pain. Just...what are..you?!"

Blaze in his mind , after hearing that : You damned system, is this what you mean by a 'MINOR' change in the future, this sort of poison was never mentioned in the novel at all!! Thankfully, i was able to save him just in time, otherwise who knows what would have happened.

Frore , who wasn't expecting this kind of explanation was enraged even more and was about to attack her when, Blaze who had his head on his shoulder whispered , "I will distract her with talking, so use Trident when there is an opening."

Frore who was still controlling multiple daggers around them to deal with the bees, whispered back, "....alright."

"You...crazy woman...why would you attack Frore?" Blaze said with some difficulty.

Yena made a crazed expression and replied , "Why...? My god gave me the mission , to kill "The child of the apocalypse" that's why. So, i want to ask, why...are you..getting in my way?"

"Isn't that... obvious? I don't give a damn... about your god or whatever you call him. Do i need a reason...to protect my family?"

Frore looked towards him when he heard that , he forgot about his anger for a moment and just looked at Blaze with many emotions reflecting in his eyes , but mostly it was surprise and joy.

"It looks like you have been brainwashed, by 'that cult' ". Blaze said hoarsely and coughed up some blood. 

Looks like my body is done ejecting the poison, the dizziness is gone. 

Blaze wanted to stand up straight but Frore was holding onto him tightly and unwilling to let go, so he just let it be. 

Yena replied; "How dare a measly human like you , call the 'sacred oasis' a cult? Do you have a death wish?....You want to protect him, right? then, DIE WITH HIM!"

As she moved her wand towards them. Frore had already released Trident from behind her. which first pierced through her mana shield and then her skull, killing her on the spot. 

Blaze then gently petted his back, "Frore, you can let go of me now. That women is dead and the bees also gone. My body is done ejecting the poison too."

Frore picked him up and made him sit on a honey brick, Frore also had the superhuman strength of a hunter and picking up Blaze is no big deal for him. It can't be helped since Blaze's wound had not healed, but Blaze still felt embarrassed about it.

"....sit and rest for sometime." 

Blaze took out a healing, anti-poison and stamina potion from his inventory. 

Frore asked while looking at it, "Why don't you use "Heal"?"

"It's not that i don't want to but that, i can't. My heal has a condition, it can only be used on others, i can't use it for myself."
