Born of the wastelands, Spheris Arnadel, a young skilled thief, finds himself subject to a twist of fate when he steals a powerful relic and becomes a Bearer — humans gifted with powers from the Gods. As a punishment for his theft, he is cast into an otherworldly realm alongside other Bearers, where he faces off against monstrous beasts and powerful enemies. Sometimes it ends up being even more tense than the fight itself. The calm before the storm. There was tension in the air as evident as the chill running down Spheris's spine continuously. There were no murmurs anymore from the crowd, no whisper, just grave silence.
Spheris stood as resolute as he could, dark coldness and grit in his eyes as he regarded his opponent, the mighty Pa Tsuna Galileah, Mogul of the Gallied people, [Strength Of The Eldritch].
There was confidence in Spheris, nevertheless, there was also worry. He had slain beasts before, true, but he had never faced off against another Bearer. He'd never used his powers to fight a fellow person.
Spheris grunted inwardly. What difference could there be? Just like beasts, humans were also living things. And what if the Mogul had great powers? So did the Lysarthian Devourer, and so did the Bloodlusted Gorgolith.
