Spheris stepped away from the roasting meat he placed on the fire and sat on his special chair, Vexarion's flank. The shadow beast had already feasted on its dinner and was fast asleep.

Talon however, as the glutton he was, wouldn't sleep until he had a bit of Spheris's as well.

After preparing himself, Spheris manifested the Fragment Exchanger Variable. It appeared into his waiting palm, from shimmering red lights to a diamond structure with magical symbols.

Spheris watched it pulse faintly as the atmosphere inside the cave grew even quieter, almost reverent, as he stared at it, the air tingling with the static of magic.

'Alright then,' he thought.

He summoned the interface and arrived at his Fragment Spaces, all ten were filled. Spheris let out a slow breath and activated the Exchanger.
