"All that talk and I still won the bout!"

"Yeah whatever," Morrigan laughed heartily, exchanging jests with his friends as he unlocked his door. "We'll go again next time. Right now, I need to get my beauty sleep. See you tomorrow."

He gave them a casual wave before slipping into the door of his personal dormitory. Being staff had its privileges, and the large room he occupied was proof of that. He locked the door behind him with a quick twist of the key, and once he realized he was alone, he let out a deep breath.

Then he turned around... and he froze.

"You might have to reschedule that beauty sleep."

There, sitting casually on his desk in the shadows, was Spheris Arnadel. It was like he was all those months ago, hiding in the shadows with his sunfire eyes that had terrified one-eyed Acko that night.
