The Raven Thief
Born of the wastelands, Spheris Arnadel, a young skilled thief, finds himself subject to a twist of fate when he steals a powerful relic and becomes a Bearer — humans gifted with powers from the Gods. As a punishment for his theft, he is cast into an otherworldly realm alongside other Bearers, where he faces off against monstrous beasts and powerful enemies. Yet, in his determination to return to the Continent and save his dying mother, Spheris is hell-bent on surviving the abyssal world. Even if it means giving his body to the Dark God whose powers he had stolen... even if it means losing all of his humanity.
• A Second To Act
He activated [Shadow Clone].
And then activated [Whispering Sprint]
And then activated [Leaping Shadow]
In a mini-second, five Clones [Whispered] out of Spheris and grabbed a teammate each, holding on to them tightly as they all [Leaped] into the shadows beneath them.
Then, they [Leaped] out of a safer ground just as the geyser loudly erupted into the air, semi-seconds was the only thing that separated them from death.
Finding themselves in different positions, the team all shared worried glances. Spheris dissolved his Clones and quickly scanned everyone, making sure they were all alright.
"Is everyone okay?" he asked with urgency.
Cerene was on all fours. She looked weak, sweating profusely, and letting out hard coughs.
"Cerene!" Nero called, rushing to her side. "Fuck. What's going on?"
Akemi joined him, and placed a hand on Cerene's forehead. "Weak," she reported to Spheris.
