42- Mission
The next day, Calvin walked back to the mansion, feeling good and relaxed after leaving the exhausted Aisha resting on her bed.
After all, he wasn't an asshole to keep going, Kala had taught him to be more considerate, especially after he became a half-zombie with infinite stamina at the cost of weakened senses, cannibalistic tendencies and not being able to sleep.
'Who would have thought that she was weak to slow and gentle sex…But whatever, let's get rid of this [warp] and keep getting stronger' he thought hasting his pace.

Reaching the mansion, he opened the door getting greeted by a serious Hestia, putting his newly developed laid-back personality aside and adopting his usual Paranoid and schematic one.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Just come inside" She answered walking to the living room where the rest of the Familia was.
Hestia went to the table and grabbed the piece of paper that was there.
"This is what happened" showing the paper to everyone in the room.
"it says 'bring her here' and a map showing the 20th floor" Hestia said.
Calvin also noticed another message in the back of the paper but just looking at it was making his head hurt, he looked at Learner that was by his side that was grabbing her head and clenching her teeth that were turning sharp like needles.
Seeing this Calvin grabbed her shoulder making her look at him, she then rested her head on his shoulder and continued listening with her eyes closed.
'She also gets headaches trying to read that? But it seems like hers are stronger' Calvin thought being one of the only times he had seen her feeling pain.
"Does that mean that the guild knows?" Welf said.
"No… we haven't told anybody outside the Familia and she's been there all the time, someone else must know about her… but why would they want us to go there?" Hestia said putting the paper down and looking at the map.
"Why don't we just ignore the mission?" Calvin asked.
"Well… I wish I could but every Familia has to do every mission that comes their way especially if it is from the guild themselves" she said.
"But what if something happens to Wiene?" Bell said.
"that's why I want all of you to go do this mission" Hestia said.
Everyone nodded to that even Learner not wanting anything to happen to her little thing, and Calvin… was there even a choice to reject?
"Okay then prepare yourselves and have everything ready for midnight we have to take Wiene there and we don't want anyone seeing us" she said dismissing everyone.
And while Bell and Learner told Wiene about the situation, Welf, Makoto, Lily, and Haruhime went out to buy supplies and get adventurer gear for Haruhime.
Calvin went to train getting rid of all the warp he had.

Finally, all the members of the Familia were outside the dungeon saying their goodbyes to Hestia that came along.
As they were about to enter the dungeon Calvin looked at his notifications and then his entire status.

After choosing [Pink muscles] as the previous mutation he decided to take the other mutation that was similar to open space for more abilities in the future.

Suspended Spell: Delay activation of a Bent ability by 3 seconds per level. Point of origin at user's discretion, within limits of original Ability]
He then chose [Suspended Spell] as it seemed like the most useful of the bunch and it would be really helpful in some situations.

After that he took probably the most useful ability within [Dupdomancy], letting him create all sorts of things.

And finally, he decided to spend the last point of warp into [Phasing] the strange thing was that there was only one ability to choose from but he didn't mind not having to choose sometimes.

Looking at his status he was quite satisfied with the way it was going.
The team then went down the spiraling stairs leading to the dungeon starting their mission.

Defeating a couple of monsters along the way the team was now at the desired location, they had taken a single break in Rivira and continued their journey once again, although the way was made easier due to having the whole Familia in the team.
They were now walking through a Cave full of moss and shiny blue rocks embedded on the walls.
The team then stopped moving due to the wall in front of them as they seemed to have reached a dead end.
"Are you sure it was around here?" Calvin Asked Bell examining the wall.
"Yeah… that's what the map said" Bell answered.
"So, are we supposed to wait for someon-"Welf said only to get cut off, by Wiene.
"Do you hear that?" She said moving her large, pointed ears.
Hearing that the whole team went into silence trying to hear what Wiene was listening to.
Learner was the first to hear it followed by Haruhime then Calvin and then the rest of the team.
"Someone singing?" Learner said getting a nod from Wiene.
"It's coming from there" Haruhime added pointing to one slightly bigger blue boulder on the wall.
"Let's see what's inside then" Welf said Slashing at the rock with his greatsword.
*Crack! * The boulder split in two revealing another 'secret' room behind it.
'Oho...? this is getting interesting' Calvin thought rubbing his chin while Learner watched him as if knowing what he was thinking.
'Always acting like a villain when you are clearly not one' She thought not knowing why he had such 'villainous tendencies'.
Going inside the newly revealed room Learner instantly realized what was going on, her natural Night vision was leagues above Calvin's for her this pitch-black room was as clear as day, sensing numerous monsters that were similar to Wiene she was thinking that they might just want to recover one of their own, but she still wanted to see what their plan was so she decided to not blow up their cover.
"Calvin on the other side was having trouble seeing more than a few meters Infront of him but those few meters were very detailed thanks to his newly acquired [Spatial awareness] along with [External bent Circulation] he could see any danger that would be coming for him… or anyone close to him and react in time.
Suddenly he saw something move within the darkness and just as he was about to tell the team, it launched forwards!
