Kinsley’s POV
I stand off of Terron, moving slowly as the rogues all show their teeth and snarl at my every little movement. I can’t stand the sight of them. They’re backing a maniac, a ruthless Alpha without the title, and without the numbers behind him, Ace would be nothing.
But right now, it’s clear that no matter what I think of him, he is in charge.
Terron moves in front of me to face The Rogue Prince, but it doesn’t matter. There are wolves scattered all over this forest and they surround us at every angle. He promises them a life of thievery and mayhem, and that’s what they want.
They want to tear an Alpha from his Luna; they want to create chaos and ferment the world in their filth. It’s disgusting but in moments like this, it works out in their favor.
“You should know better by now, Ace,” Terron barks. “If you keep coming around here, eventually I’m going to rip your head from your neck. Is it really worth it?”
