The search

Dóro has been lying there for days. People began to doubt he was alive. His mother would go check up on him everyday to know weather her son was still alive. She would wash him,brush his teeth and change his clothes. One cloudy evening,Dóro mother sat by him and began to to sing the song his father sang to him when he was still in her womb. Dóro could hear the voice of his mother and he began to regain consciousness. His eyes opened and he could feel his mother's hand,touching his head but she watched the sky. He moved his hands to touch hers then cried,"Mama,is that you?". She immediately looked at him,And moved my joy,she immediately hugged him.

Dóro woke up and sat beside his mother,held her hands,looked her in the eyes and said,"Mama,you should not fear,for I shall go on a journey far from home ,one not for pleasure nor for gain

A journey full of fear and uncertainty

A one I needed not to begin

But for the dough eating me from within.Mama,I will leave behind a ball of fire, burning internally with my rage. When it burns low it means in sad or feeling down. When it burns bright it means I'm happy or joyful. When it burns with aggression it means I'm angry. When it burns very low it means I'm weak or in great pain. I will suspend it in my room,for my room should be left empty to carry the flame.

Dóro woke up and walked with his mother into the town. Everybody was shocked but also joyful upon his arrival. The people praised him and called him their savior. He went to his mothers house,washed himself up and had something to eat for he's not eaten for days. After that,he decided to rest. After a few hours,the elders invited do to the council to have a word with him.

Dóro arrived at the council,standing in front of the council. They all stared at each other then Ark spoke,"I'm soo proud of you boy,for you have fulfilled your purpose. With a lost look on his face,the boy angrily replied,"Well done,were you not the one that called me a mistake?I only accepted your request to say goodbye,for I leave at noon. I go on a journey,more like a search. For now that I've destroyed the darkness,I'm not sure what will become of me. I don't want to stay and be a dead log.

Dóro walked out of the council in a disrespectful manner and ran to the lake where he always trained. After standing there and watching the lake for about an hour,Ram stood from behind him and mentioned his name,he turned,and realizing it was Ram, he said,"There was no darkness. All he searched was a reason and the world game him none. He told me it was not worth the try but I can't stay and turn into a dead log.

Ram walked towards the boy and said,"I understand my boy, take this,it belonged to my daughter. It will help me community with you. Every time you look at it, just know that I'll be there with you". He pulled a necklace out of his gown and gave it to Dóro. Dóro took the necklace and wore it on his neck. Ram then left Dóro to be by himself. Dóro lord by the river to meditate. As noon approaches, he went home to prepare for his leave.

As Dóro was packing up his things, his mother walked to his room to say her goodbyes. She held a fur coat in her hand and handed it over it over to Dóro saying'"Take this son,for it will keep you warm during the cold nights. She handed a bag filled with food, mainly bread, meat and vegetables and handed it over to Dóro saying,"Take this, for it will keep you filled before you can come to know what is to be eaten". She was scared and sad as every mother would be as her son is about to leave home, moreover, an unknown destination. He took the coat and wore it and took the bag from his mom and gathered his belongings.

He went close to he mother, hugged her and whispered in her ears saying,"Fear not mom for I carry my fathers dagger to keep me safe and I possess the rage,Incase of any uncertainty". He went to the stable and picked a horse to use for his journey. He packed his belongings on the horse and took off.

It's has been many years since Dóro left for his journey. His mother has aged and lessen in strength. She lied in her son's room, staring at the ball of fire hoping everyday that her son returns. It's was almost sunset as Dóro rode a horse through town. People were shocked for he has returned. He was ornamented with precious stones and clothed in a gown made from very expensive materials. He rode directly to his mom house as everybody watched in shock. He entered into the house to find her lying on the floor in his room staring at the flame. He stood at the door and tears ran down his face. He walked up to his mother. With the strength she had, she asked her son to help her sit up. He sat beside his mother the she asked,"How are you son, for what do you dress like this, covered in ornaments of the land. In reply he said to his mother,"Mother,i have been to many lands and meet people of different ways of life, I fell in love and felt great pain losing the one I lost. I was treated unfairly and punished by the men of other lands while others received me with joy. But for one this is sure,I didn't find what I was looking for. I still don't have a reason for my existence. The many of people live with it but a few cursed kid me are always looking for answers,knowing we'll find none". The elders and the people gathered to listen to Dóro's story as he talked about his journey.
