The hall was filled with guests due to the occasion of her sister's b'day. But Fiona's eyes never left her sister despite she was attending her guests. The vision of her sister's death dampened Fiona's spirit. Despite her careful gazes, Fiona lost sight of her. The vision filled her mind again & she sprinted up through the stairway. As she approached the balcony door, she heard Shana, her sister say, "Don't you dare touch me. I'll jump off the balcony." Hearing this,Fiona rushed to the scene of her sister jumping off the balcony.

"SISTER!!!!"

Fiona woke up with sweat dripping off her forehead. This garish past has become a nightmare of Fiona's daily life. Today was her sister's 20th b'day & also 3rd death anniversary. Fiona stared at the warm-colored ceiling motionlessly. Without turning or looking, Fiona groped for her phone. The time said 3:00 A.M. She sat up & subconsciously caressed her locket. The image of Shana lying in a pool of blood flashed through her mind. "Take care...of it...for me", were her last words.Fiona shuddered involuntarily at the thought.

"Sis, you're awake?", Leon, her little brother pushed open her door. Noticing his sister sitting in a daze, Leo approached her & gently patted on her shoulder. Fiona slipped off her reverie & took a deep breath. " Are you still feeling guilty of elder's death? You're not at fault. It was that man's fault."

Hearing this, Fiona leaned her head on her brother's left shoulder, who was standing in front of her.

"I don't know", few tears rolled out of her clear brown eyes,"I didn't protect her well."

"Hey, sis! Don't start crying. It's a big day for you today. If Mom sees you crying, she will eventually remember the accident & will feel traumatized again. Do you want her to remember the memory the doctors had tried so hard to remove?", Leon chided her gently. With her Mom's mention, Fiona stopped crying while Leo gently wrapped her in her embrace. Then he patted her Sis's head & said,"Then freshen up & come down quickly for breakfast. Before leaving for airport, we can go visit elder's grave, okay?" Fiona gently nodded & Leon left her room to let her compose herself.

--Downstairs,Dining Hall--

Her parents & Leo were already seated at the dining table when Fiona came down. She quietly sat down beside Leon. The table was spread with the Favorite dishes of Fiona. Fiona's heart was filled with warmth. "Since you'll be away from home for the next 2 years, me & your Dad prepared all of your favorite dishes for you today. How are you feeling?", her mom asked with a smile. "Really great. It feels special.Thanks Mom & Dad", Fiona expressed her gratitude. Though she spoke few words everyday, she would always try to make herself clear in front of everyone. "Then, stop taking & start eating", her Dad said with a grin. Rest of the breakfast passed away quietly. After breakfast, Leon patted on her shoulder,"Let's go." To which Fiona gently nodded.

--Public Cemetery, Town D--

Fiona & Leon pulled away the weeds & reeds surrounding Shana's tombstone. It said, "In the loving memory of a courageous daughter & loveliest of sisters." Fiona laid down the bouquet of white roses that she bought from a flower shop on the way. She & Leon sat down beside it for some quiet moment. At last, Leon broke the silence,"Let's go now. I know you spend half your day here for the past 3 years. But not today. We'll get late."

"Few more minutes, please."

"Mom will suspect something, if you keep doing this way."

"Hmm, let's go then."

"Good girl!"

"You sound like a big brother to me."

"Of course, I'm."

Fiona pinched Leon's nose before grabbing his neck.

--Home Sweet Home--

When they reached home Mom & Dad had already put Fiona's luggage in their Alto 800. Mom was already seated.

Dad said, "Get in."

Fiona & Leon: "Yep, Dad."

Their car pulled out of the gate & began their 2-hour journey to the airport at City D.
