The Northanrey Household is one of the four prominent households in The Acasti Empire.
A Household where many second-rated swordsmen came from. The household was prosperous, yet its reputation diminished throughout the 4th and 5th generations.
This same household used to hold the most potent swordsman in all of the Acasti Empire. However, the household sovereign for the 4th generation is incompetent, leading to a decreasing reputation and power.
The household was fated to die from the beginning through incompetent leadership, horrendous employment, and unnecessary deals.
The household is located in Northanrey city, named after the central family.
There are many other low nobles, and some are high nobles under the administration of The Northanrey household.
In Acasti Empire, they don't use earth's original monarchy system with all of those dukedoms, counts, and barons.
They have their own monarchy system. It's relatively simple compared to earth but way more effective. The system placements are ranked from Royalty as the highest state of order.
The four prominent households and High nobles have the second place for administration and order, they have the exact placement of rule, but due to their rich and decorated history, many high nobles looked up to the four prominent households.
Low nobles, the third highest rule.
Finally, we have the commoner, the lowest of the bunch. They used to deal with such horrendous discrimination. Still, due to the modern empire's newly installed "Codic" law, those who used their higher status to inflict suffering on those of a lower class shall receive harsh punishment.
It's common sense that The Nothanrey Household is now vilified because of its recent not-so-good decisions, hence why High nobles and even some wealthy Low nobles showered rains of disgust on the people from that household.

Killigan Northanrey is the name my new parents gave me *sigh* I know, unfortunate. Why did Knowledge say that this household is compatible with me?
My new dad, Hassel Northanrey, is stupid. He's a drunkard and a spendthrift. I like to call him "stumblebum" because he is an incompetent, senile piece of shi- anyways, I have been here for 7 years and have learned many.
First, this world has no name; therefore, being the reincarnation of The Great Cronos himself, I have the privilege to name this world and what I called it... Thrytinia.
In Thrytinia, science differs from the earth. The gravity here is at an all-time high is more than 30 m/s^2, so that's more than 3 times earth's gravity, yet somehow everything usually works here.
I used newton's law of gravitational force equation to calculate the said number, which is weird since the equation remains the same. That means it's not nature that differs, but our perspective and senses are heightened.
I speculated that there are uses of magic to keep everything seeming normal. If that much gravitational force is implied to earth, catastrophes will emerge.
So, magic... Yeah! There's magic here, which is fantastic. It's like bending mother nature itself. Everyday physics and don't doesn't work here, in this world full of the unexpected.
There are two existing ways to use supernatural abilities,
one of them is to use mana which is the fuel to magic and
second, there is an energy called aether, which is used as fuel for skills.
Let me explain the difference between magics and abilities,
Magic uses mana, and skills use aether energy,
Every humanoid organism has been blessed to have 1 skill. You can nurture it and hone it to its maximum potential; however you can not have more than 1 skill because it's impossible, you cannot gain nor earn a skill. It is born with you.
And finally magic, there are 2 known mastery levels for magic which are,
Elementary Magic:
Pyro, Aqua, Aero, Earth, Light, and Dark.
Advanced magic:
Inferno (enhanced fire), Hydro (enhanced water), Gale (enhanced wind), Terra (enhanced earth), Cryo (ice), Chloro (summoning/shifting), Electro, Toxic, Lava, Psycho, Metal, Blood, Holy, and Demonic.
Magic users are rare. Some of us are unfortunate to not have any connections to mana.
Our connection to mana is pure, untainted, that is, until we learn magic.
Imagine pathways full of clear pristine water, what happens when we pour a bottle of ink on the water?
The water will have the same color as the ink. That bottle of ink is the type of magic that we have learned, therefore if a pathway is already colored by an ink you cannot pour a different color of ink because it will ruin the color of the previous ink.
One can learn any magic however once you have learned it, you have no choice but to wield that magic forever.
Then, of course the obvious option is to learn the advanced magic, since they are stronger and better, right? WRONG!
Our pathways varies among different sizes some of us has narrow pathways that can only hold the intensity of an elementary magic ink and some of us has wide pathways that can hold the intensity of any type of magic you want.
We, as mana users, have different amount of pathways. The most common one is up to 2 narrow pathways.
A mana user can calculate the exact pathways they have using a certain type of a magic papyrus.
Knowing this sophisticated magic system, I am half disappointed and half joyful at the type of pathways I got.
I was calculated when I was 5 years old. It was an unexpected invitation from the household's sage.
My family is an inherited Aether Swordsman which is a type of swordsman who utilizes the usage of their respected skill the most, therefore it is utterly unnecessary to calculate my mana.
However one day..
