"I'm not sure why I would need to remember you, Jeff. If you think you can get preferential treatment because of your status, you're wrong. My family owns half of the school, so forget thinking you can pressure me." Velkan said with stern eyes.

He then ordered the others to introduce themselves.

Rafael remembered each of their names. The female student who was busy streaming herself before was Aura. As for the student who was reading a book, it turned out she was the same as Rafael.

She was the other student who got a 100% scholarship. She had red hair, crimson eyes, and wore glasses. Her name was Suiyin. She had a beautiful face with an attractive figure.

Her height reached around Rafael's shoulder, the same as Aura.

The other student that caught Rafael's attention was a muscular one. He had dark skin and a bald head. What interested Rafael was not only that this student didn't look down on him, but the other students also seemed to avoid him on purpose.

His name was Aiyden.

Velkan kept his introduction short. After every student gave their name, he directly started explaining.

The subjects he taught were Math, Physics, and basically anything related to calculations.

In Royal Valtara Academy, each student in Class A was expected to excel in all subjects. Only in the second year could they choose a specialization, and in the third year, the study would be narrowed even further, sometimes to the point a teacher only taught 1-3 students.

Students could not choose their specialization, as it was decided based on their aptitude tests and scores. Their homeroom teacher, in this case, Mr. Velkan, would be the one to decide.

The minimum expected score was 8 for A class. Lower than that, they would be demoted.

Each day they would study from seven in the morning until five in the afternoon, with three breaks in total. Each break would be half an hour.

Mr. Velkan also explained they would have sports every day in the morning for one hour.

After finishing the explanation, he proceeded with a video projection that explained what they would learn in the whole year of school and some boring history about how the school was founded.

It also repeated some of Vivian's lectures, like no bullying, etc., which made Rafael chuckle.

The rules always stated so, but bullying almost always happened in each school. It's like the first rule of society they learned as students.

Even though the rules said so, many factors would come into play to decide whether they would be enforced or not, like the background, evidence, repercussions.

After the warning from Ben, Rafael had done his homework looking for any rumors on bullying.

He needed to dig deep in into the forum to find out some rumor, he realized bullying at Royal Valtara was worse than he expected.

Some even ended up dead, and the parents got silenced.

'I have no one that can back me here; those CCTVs, rather than protecting me, will just become a hindrance.'

Rafael was confident in his fighting ability. He always practiced hard in many styles just to make sure he could protect his sister if needed.

But now, if he fought with, for example, Jeff, even if it was five vs. one, and it was recorded that they were the ones who started the fight if Rafael won, he was sure the video would be edited in such a way that it would only implicate him.

Mr. Velkan's cold response to Jeff didn't make him feel any better.

The lesson continued for a few hours before the bell rang.

"As today is your first day at school, you can return home for now.

No need for greetings, I always find this kind of thing pointless," Velkan said, then left the room.

Seeing this, Rafael quickly moved forward.

He wanted to leave the class and avoid confrontation as soon as possible. But unfortunately, Jeff had already started. He moved his leg in a way that would trip Rafael.

Despite not looking at it directly, Rafael could see it from the corner of his eyes.

'Now, what should I do?' Rafael thought, considering his options.

His eyes moved towards the two cameras in the front and then to the other students. Seeing their bodies block the recording with a grin, Rafael decided.

His leg moved upward as if he wanted to dodge, but Jeff smirked, raising his leg. Then with one quick motion and a burst of strength, Rafael moved back his foot.

CRACK! A cracking sound reverberated in the room.

Jeff screamed in pain as he could feel his leg bone breaking.

Every student turned towards Jeff. His friends stood up and wanted to retaliate, but before they could do anything, Rafael moved close to Jeff's ear and then began whispering something.

Jeff's eyes glimmered with anger, but it only lasted for a moment. The more he heard from Rafael, the more his expression turned ugly.

This odd change of expression didn't escape his friends' eyes, making them hesitate to intervene.

Rafael then smiled and left the class.

Jeff quickly raised his foot, making sure it was alright. The leg was swollen and blue.

He knew he needed to see a doctor now, but telling his father what had happened was out of the question.

"Bastard! Find out everything about him." Jeff cursed loudly.

"What did he tell you? I've never seen you like that before." One of the women in the group asked.

"Quartz, if you knew what he said, you would react worse than me. That bastard is a psychopath.

I don't know how, but he told me my personal information and warned me that he didn't care about my status or background.

If I try anything against him…

Forget it. Just, find out who he is."

"Alright, I'll ask my uncle about his information. But aren't you worried he will find out?"

"Who does he think he is? That bastard shamed me. I'll make sure to return the favor. I don't believe he dares to do it."

"I'm not sure that's wise, Jeff. He just did something none of us believed someone would dare to do."
