Chapter Three

I woke up at five a.m the next morning and that was the earliest I've ever woken up. I took my bath, got dressed and began to watch TV. Once it was six thirty am, Anne's alarm went off. Beep! Beep! Beep!

I smiled, "finally! Guys wake up!"

"Aww, I don't wanna wake up now, I'm too tired, let me sleep just a tiny bit more? Please Ella?" Anne pleaded, while she and Flow did that puppy eyes they knew I couldn't resist.

"Ugh! Fine! I'm gonna go get us some food to eat but before I get back, I want you both up and ready, okay?" I said.

"Yea, yea, yea" Flow answered sleepily and dozed off; while Anne had already slept off.

I smiled.

Well, that was just typical Anne. I remember when I went over to her house for our first sleep over , after beating her at a video game, and gossiping about cute boys at school, she slept off before I could even change into my PJ.

I decided to go get breakfast for me, Anne, Flow and the guys which I'm sure are still asleep; but unlike my luck yesterday, I bumped into the one person I didn't wanna see that morning.

"Susan, I'm so sorry I bumped into you, it was an accident" I said, even though I wished I sent her flying off the roof.

"An accident? An accident?! You almost threw me off my feet" She growled.

"Really?" I blurted out smiling, before I could even stop myself.

She gasped in shock,so did I.

I quickly cleared my throat, "I mean really? I'm deeply sorry for that, it won't happen again I promise"

She smirked, "Really? You seem like you really wished you threw me off my feet" She said, glaring at me as she poked my shoulder.

Okay, I've had enough of this bitch, I'm done tryin'a be polite.

"Susan, do I look like I care what you think? Look around you, we're not at Sky Level High anymore, we're at Cairo, okay?" I said, as I felt my anger rising, "so get that into your head, I'm sorry, but in this place, socially and otherwise, you and I are equals, so let that sink into your thick skull, get outta my way bitch" I said, pushing her aside, I walked away.

God! That felt goood!

From the hallway, I heard her howling insults at me but I didn't care, I've had enough of her bullying for one day, she can't continue to that to people because she thinks she's better than them.

Okay, so she's pretty, smart, a cheerleader, a social media influencer and is dating the captain of the basketball team at school which happens to be Derrick Haynes, but that doesn't give her the right to treat people the way she does, like they have no life at all.

As I walked into the cafeteria, I spotted Derrick by the counter, I watched as he took his meal order to a table at the corner then, I went over to order my food and snacks.

"Hi, good morning" I said

"Good morning miss, how can I help you?" The cute staff behind the counter with a name tag. Ismael.

"I would like five large hamburgers, three root beers, five ice cream: two vanilla and chocolate flavour, one banana flavour and a strawberry one, five packs of popcorn, five packs of French fries, ten doughnuts, five milkshake and one giant pizza to go pls" I said.

"Wow, are all this for you alone?" Ismael asked, I giggled.

"No, for me and my friends"

"Oh, okay, I'll be back with your order pretty girl" he said and left to get my order.

I smiled and walked over to where Derrick sat. God, he's even gorgeous when he's eating.

"Hi" I said, blushing when I realized that he was watching me watch him now. "May I join you while I wait for my order?" I asked.

"Sure" He said, I sat down beside him.

"So what are you doing here? I just saw Susan on my way in"

"We got into a fight, cause I said I wanted to see pharaoh's statue, while she wanted to go to some boutiques here in the neighborhood and check out their latest outfits" He said.

Okay, I know it isn't funny but I couldn't help laughing at his statement, cause didn't he know what he was getting himself into when he decided to date Susanna Coy? I guest he didn't, considering the look on his face right now.

"Derrick, didn't you know Susan would think of something like this?"

"I knew but_"

I cut him off before he could bring up any excuse.

"Derrick, I don't know if we're friends or if we're even there yet but lemme advice you as a friend; if you really love her like you say you do, then you'll do anything that makes her happy even if you don't like it" I said and got off from my seat to go collect and pay for my order.

I began to walk away, when Derrick called me back.

"Thanks Gabriella...for the advice" He said smiling

"You're welcome, it was the least I could do and please call me Ella" I said, smiling back at him

He smiled back nodding. Then I left with my order.

When I got to my room, expecting Anne and Flow to be up and awake waiting for me, but instead they were still sleeping, so I went to the boys room and woke Eddie and Gab up.

"Oh come on Ella, it's too early to be waking us up" Eddie said

I arched a brow, " by eight a.m? Just get your sleepy asses up, I brought breakfast" I said, smirking at them.

They both sat up immediately and bolted for my room.

"Why didn't you say that before?" Gab said, as they left me in their rooms.

As I was about entering the room, I heard them all arguing and by the looks of it all, Anne and Flow were up too fighting for the food they wanted.

Smiling, I entered the room.

"Guys, stop arguing, Flow, take one of every food, you guys too and Gab?"

"Yeah?" He answered

"Could you please take the ice creams, root beers and put 'em in the fridge?" I said

"Why?"

"So it can still be cold and nice to snack with when we go exploring Egypt's artifacts and pharaoh's statue"

"Oh okay"

An hour later, we all joined the other students and Ms Phillips downstairs in the hotel's parking lot.

I don't know why, but I feel like this was the real reason I was born, like being in Cairo was the real reason I was able to survive all the obstacles I'd been facing years ago; but the only way to find my purpose in life was to believe and follow my instincts for once in my life.

Man! My story's about to get exciting.
