wedding dress

People dance outside the palace to the sounds of trumpets, drums, and ball music as they celebrate the royal wedding of Princess Savannah, the only child of Lord Myrtle. Even though there was adequate time for the marriage to begin, the general public was already dressed. Outside the castle, little youngsters were singing and dancing. The elderly left gifts outside the door, and the guardsmen brought them inside. The guests were welcomed with beverages and appetizers by active royal maidens and maids. The function was open to both wealthy managers and merchants. Anyone who took in the huge decorations was astounded by how stunning they appeared. Beautiful white and pink flowers that seemed like they had just been changed before drying up. The priest entered the room with his disciples. Being the oldest person in the Myrtle kingdom and having officiated at the king's wedding, he was welcomed by the monarch himself.

"Please take a seat, Father Reyes." The priest was led by the king to the seating area. The priest was followed by his students.

You did a fantastic job; it almost made me remember the time when I officiated at your wedding there. The middle of the hallway, next to the staircase, was where the priest pointed. The king smiled as he reflected on the past because he was currently living only off of his memories. As the king talked about the wedding, the priest noticed a hint of grief in his eyes. It was terribly awful that he had to raise a child alone when his wife passed away unexpectedly. "Where is the young child?" The priest was questioned while shrugging his shoulders and swiftly switching the subject.

"She is getting ready. The bride and the groom are both getting ready." The priest nodded in response. The king left and went to attend to additional visitors while wearing a faint smile on his face.

Your wedding dress is ready, ma'am. The princess was informed while taking a bath by the maiden. The princess nodded as she exited the bathtub. One of her maidens dried her hair with a hand fan as the other assisted her in wrapping a robe around her body. To avoid any creases, the gown that was delivered last night was spread out on her bed. The princess smiled as she heard the loud sound of drums and the chattering of people throughout the entire castle.

"It's lovely." The princess exclaimed and delicately picked up the stunning white dress as she gazed at it for a short while. In front of the mirror, she danced merrily while holding the outfit.

"It will appear even more lovely around you." One of the women commented.

The princess gently handed the gown to her. The damsel helped the princess put on the garment properly. The outfit fit her lean form perfectly, as if it had been designed especially for her. Her neck and fair complexion were enhanced by the clothing. She was so much prettier as ever that the maidens couldn't keep their eyes off of her. She did a small whirl, her long hair twirling along the length of the garment. The maidens all giggled joyfully. After a while the bride was ready with her hair done nicely and all the accessories to compliment her dress. a thin linen veil that was lighter in weight and so soft in touch was placed over her head. And the princess was all ready for the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Prince Ezekiel got ready ahead of time as usual and patiently waited for his elder brother to get ready. "I'm the groom, and you've been getting ready for days." Ezekiel made fun of his brother as he struggled to fasten his boots. As he gave up, King Alaric let out a big sigh. "That's what happens when you turn down an offer." As the monarch advised the royal servants to dress on their own, Ezekiel stated. In order to tie the laces on his brother's boots, Ezekiel got up from the chair he was sitting on.

"How can she do it so easily?" remarked King Alaric.

"Since she's your wife." While tying the laces, Ezekiel made a remark. "And you've never learned to knot it." When he didn't hear back from the king, he looked up to see him looking dejected. "You miss her, right?" the king asked, nodding.

"She wanted to come, but-" He had to stop mid-sentence because his mouth trembled from crying.

"She'll be just fine." Ezekiel sat next to him.

"You look fantastic." For a brief while, Alaric gazed at his brother.

A knock on the door, followed by the arrival of a guardsman, disrupted their small brotherly moment. "I apologize for interrupting your Majesty, but the priest needs to see you." Both of them gave themselves one more glance before leaving with the guard. All that could be heard and seen as they left the room were people scurrying around carrying trays and gifts. The royal attendants bowed to them as they made their way towards the passageway. Their cheeks lit up at the distant sound of music, and the king gave Ezekiel a playful nudge. They were directed by the guardsman to the dining room that was close to the hall where the priest was seated. "Your Majesty," he said. The guardsman came to a halt in front of the dining hall and motioned them inside. Furthermore, there were so many people in the hall and elsewhere that the dining area was mostly vacant, and they discovered the priest seated with his accommodates. King Alaric and Prince Ezekiel both looked around for King Larson, but he wasn't there.

The monks who accompanied the priest stood up and bowed to king Alaric and Ezekiel when they recognized their presence. The priest himself rose to meet the king and the groom. "Greetings, father Reyes." Both Alaric and Ezekiel bowed before him. They were perplexed when they did not receive a response. The priest remained staring at them, shocked.

"Father?" One of his accommodates softly called for him.

"Oh... my apologies Josen brothers, I got a little zoned out." The priest apologized and politely bowed to them. Before the ceremony, they all gathered around a round table for a brief discussion. The father explained to them the vows Ezekiel had to make as well as some ceremonies that were required. With the music and drums outside the dining room, their lengthy conversations became incomprehensible. In accordance with the father's instructions, the guards were stationed outside the dining room to bar entry. While taking care of his visitors, King Larson's thoughts occasionally turned to the closed door where his father was speaking with the Josen brothers. Why were they taking so long? He wondered.
