The world is crumbling. The sun, our source of light and life, continues to shine, but danger threatens the moon, our bulwark against the evil that seeks to end it all. Even as the sun provides us with light and magic and energy for life to grow and thrive, life must let this power flow through us and return to the moon where it will complete its work. But what happens when this lunar flow is threatened? Five princesses, each named for the defender of the night, forge their own connections to the power of the moon after discovering that their place in the cycle of life has been disrupted. Legend speaks of what must be done to correct the balance; does prophecy name them as the ones to save the world from the destruction that lies in wait past the veil of the night?
