Chapter 31 - Ronald Reagan

"Can I come in?" Ronald asked as Serefina blinked in shock.

"Yeah, sure," she said and stepped aside to let him in.

"Ronald?" Bryan was as shocked as her.

"Did I interrupt you guys?" he asked

Well, Ronald did create the awkward situation. Were she and Bryan actually about to kiss? She blushed again. What was she thinking! Focus Serefina! she thought.

Bryan cleared his throat again, "No, we were umm...doing nothing."

"Yeah, nothing at all," Serefina agreed. And she was sure she saw Bryan's ear blush.

"What are doing here?" Bryan asked.

"Well, I found out about your grandma," Ronald said.

"How did you?" Serefina asked.

"Ava is my sister," he clarified.

"Your sister? But Devina and Reagan?"

"We are cousins actually but we've living in the same kingdom after..." he paused for a long second, "Sedvie ambushed my kingdom."

"Sedvie? Again? Why is she attacking all the kingdoms? Rhys said that Bryan's and his kingdoms have a connection with her but why your kingdom?"

"Maybe..." Bryan whispered out loud.

"Maybe what?" she asked.

"Never mind that. Just a thought. I'll tell you after I think it over. "

Serefina sighed and nodded. And Bryan was hiding something again.

"So what are you here for?" Serefina asked Ronald.

"Well, you see my uncle has come to Timora for staying this weekend and he is a Timagician. So I think he can help you find your grandma, " he explained.

"Why are you helping me?" she asked.

"Because my sister is your friend and she is always worried about you so I just want to take care about it myself, if I can that is."

"Hey, Sef, " Bryan called, "take your time if you want his help or not."

"Yup. Take your time, " Ronald agreed. "Inform my sister if you've thought about it."

After he left the house. Serefina sat on the couch, "Do you think we can trust him on this?"

"As far as I know him, he is a person who can be trusted. The rest depends on you, " Bryan said and sat down beside her. "Uhm. Sorry about what I was about to do..."

And again the awkwardness! Serefina turned tomato red. Words nearly came out of her mouth, "I...well...umm...I..."

"Sef? Are you alright? Are you getting sick?" He took her hand in his.

This was getting Serefina out of her mind. "I-I a-am f-fine."

"Sef? Look at me."

"Huh?"

"Look at me, Sef."

Serefina looked up at Bryan sitting beside her. He looked...even more beautiful.

He placed his hand over her forehead. "Your burning up. Go to bed or it'll get worse!"

"Bryan really I-I am fine. I am not sick. It just that I am-" she stopped. What was she going to say?!?

"You're what?" he asked looking so worried that Serefina admitted with a whisper and looked away, "I-I am blushing, okay?"

"Oh. Well, um then uh. Think about Ronald's idea and tell me tomorrow. I'll get going then. Ummm t-take care.

And with that Bryan teleported away leaving Serefina still blushing hard.
