It is already afternoon. Damn, I went before sunrise, but now it is afternoon. Now everyone surely would have known about my disappearance. Yeah, Father must be shouting. He must have made everyone worry with his loud voice. No, no, no... Now I need to hurry. I need to reach there before things go outside my hand.
"Can you drive faster?" I asked the carriage driver.
"Miss, I'm already driving faster. I don't think I can drive any faster than this," he said, making my anxiety rise even higher. I started chewing on my fingertips, knowing about the time.
"Okay, you drive at your own pace. But still, try to hurry," I said one more time, but this time I didn't get any response, so I only stayed silent.
