Princess Liviana's POV
"Lili, talk to me." Conrad commanded me in a calm voice. He started begging me to talk to him since we left the party. I ignored him because I don't want to speak angrily at him. I don't want to say harsh words to him that I know I would regret later on.
I changed my gown into a comfy nightdress after taking a warm bath. I hurriedly tucked myself under the blanket on our bed and shut my eyes closed to sleep.
"My princess, please." Conrad begged after I turned my back on him. I bit my lower lip as I tried to control myself from hugging him. I felt the bed moved and his presence at my back.
He heaved a deep sighed as I felt his warm hand on my bare arm, caressing it slowly. "I'm sorry, Lili. I lost control the moment I found out that you were with a male werewolf. I did not mean to yell at you. I did not mean to hurt you." He explained, and I felt my heart softens for him.
