Synopsis

Princess Elowen Sylrae of the enchanting kingdom of Aeloria had her future perfectly planned: she was to marry her childhood friend, Sir Thalior Wyrd, and together they would rule the kingdom with grace and strength. However, her dreams were shattered when she discovered that Thalior had betrayed her with her own half-sister, Lady Seraphine. Heartbroken and enraged, Elowen immediately canceled the engagement. In the midst of her personal turmoil, tragedy struck the kingdom. King Aldric, her beloved father, passed away suddenly, leaving the throne vacant and the kingdom in a vulnerable position. According to the ancient laws of Aeloria, Elowen could not ascend the throne without a husband. Desperate and pressed for time, Elowen faced mounting pressure from her advisors and the court. As if in answer to her prayers, a mysterious stranger, Eirik Thorne, appeared and offered her his hand in marriage. With no other options and her kingdom at stake, Elowen agreed to the proposal. However, Elowen soon discovers that Eirik is no ordinary stranger. He is, in fact, the crown prince of the rival kingdom of Drakoria, a nation long at odds with Aeloria. As tensions rise and secrets unfold, Elowen must navigate the treacherous waters of political alliances, hidden agendas, and unexpected love. Can she find a way to unite their kingdoms and secure peace, or will the revelation of Eirik's true identity lead to the destruction of everything she holds dear?

Chapter 1Princess Elowen Sylrae

I awoke to the gentle caress of sunlight streaming through the ornate stained-glass windows of my chamber. The hues of morning—soft pinks, vibrant oranges, and tender blues—danced across the room, casting an ethereal glow on the marble floors.

I took a deep breath, savoring the fresh, crisp air that carried the faint scent of blooming lilacs from the royal gardens below. This was my home, the enchanting kingdom of Aeloria, where magic was woven into every corner, and I, Princess Elowen Sylrae, was at its heart.

The silver gossamer curtains fluttered lightly in the breeze, and I rose from my bed, feeling the coolness of the floor beneath my bare feet.

My silver hair cascaded down my back like a waterfall of moonlight, and I quickly brushed through it, the familiar ritual grounding me. Today, like every day, was filled with duties and responsibilities, but it was also filled with love. Love for my kingdom, my people, and most of all, Sir Thalior Wyrd.

Thalior. Just the thought of him brought a smile to my lips. His warm hazel eyes, his sandy blonde hair, and the way his smile could light up even the darkest of days.

He was my confidant, my closest friend since childhood, and soon, he would be my husband if propose. Together, we would rule Aeloria with grace and strength, just as we had always dreamed.

But dreams, I reminded myself, must be built on the foundation of reality. And so, with a resolute heart, I donned my gown—a flowing creation of silken azure, embroidered with silver thread that shimmered like starlight.

The gown hugged my figure gracefully, a testament to the skilled hands of Aeloria's finest seamstresses. I adorned myself with the royal amulet, a delicate piece of jewelry set with a deep amethyst that mirrored the color of my eyes. It was a symbol of my lineage, a reminder of the duty I carried.

As I stepped into the corridor, the palace buzzed with life. Servants scurried about, their whispers and laughter filling the air with a sense of normalcy and warmth.

I made my way to the Great Hall, where my father, King Aldric, awaited. His sudden death was a fear that lurked at the edges of my thoughts, but today he was very much alive, and his presence was a comforting anchor.

"Good morning, Father," I greeted him as I entered the hall. He stood by the grand fireplace, his silver hair and neatly trimmed beard giving him an air of wisdom and dignity. His eyes, a mirror of my own, sparkled with warmth.

"Good morning, Elowen," he replied, his voice steady and kind. "I trust you slept well?"

"Yes, Father," I said, smiling. "And you?"

"As well as can be expected," he chuckled softly. "Come, sit with me. We have much to discuss."

I took my place beside him at the long, intricately carved table. The advisors were already assembled, their faces a mixture of respect and anticipation. Today's meeting was crucial—matters of state never ceased, and as the heir to Aeloria, I had to be prepared for every challenge.

We discussed various issues: the allocation of resources for the coming winter, the fortification of our borders, and the ongoing efforts to aid the less fortunate in our kingdom. My father spoke with the wisdom and clarity that had made him a beloved ruler, and I listened intently, contributing where I could.

After the meeting, I made my way to the courtyard, where Thalior awaited. His presence was like a beacon, and my heart swelled with joy at the sight of him. He stood tall and confident, his armor gleaming in the sunlight.

"Elowen," he called, his voice warm and affectionate. "You look radiant as always."

"Thank you, Thalior," I replied, my cheeks flushing with pleasure. "And you, as dashing as ever."

He took my hand and brought it to his lips, his touch sending a thrill through me. "Shall we take a walk?" he suggested. "The gardens are particularly lovely this morning."

We strolled through the gardens, the vibrant flowers in full bloom around us. The scent of roses, jasmine, and lavender filled the air, creating a heady, intoxicating perfume. Birds sang sweetly from the treetops, their melodies a perfect accompaniment to our conversation.

"How are the preparations for the festival coming along?" Thalior asked, his eyes twinkling with interest.

"Wonderfully," I said. "The people are excited, and everything is falling into place. It will be a celebration to remember."

"I'm sure it will be," he said, squeezing my hand gently. "With you overseeing it, how could it be anything less than perfect?"

His words made my heart soar. Thalior had always believed in me, even when I doubted myself. His support and encouragement were unwavering, and I cherished him all the more for it.

As we walked, we came across a familiar figure—Lady Seraphine. My half-sister's auburn hair gleamed in the sunlight, and her striking blue eyes regarded us with a cool detachment. Despite her delicate features and graceful manner, there was a tension between us that I could never quite dispel.

"Good morning, Seraphine," I greeted her, my tone polite but reserved.

"Good morning, Elowen, Thalior," she replied, her smile not quite reaching her eyes. "Enjoying your walk?"

"Indeed we are," Thalior said, his voice pleasant but neutral.

Seraphine nodded, her gaze lingering on Thalior for a moment longer than necessary. There was something in her eyes—a flicker of envy, perhaps—that made me uneasy. But I dismissed the thought, unwilling to let anything spoil the perfection of the morning.

As we continued our walk, I couldn't help but reflect on my relationship with Seraphine. Despite our shared blood, we were more strangers than sisters.

She had always been distant, her ambitions and desires a mystery to me. But I had my own path to follow, and I could not afford to be distracted by her complexities.

Our stroll eventually led us to the edge of the palace grounds, where the lush landscapes of Aeloria stretched out before us.

Rolling hills, dense forests, and sparkling rivers painted a picture of breathtaking beauty. This was my kingdom, my home, and I would do everything in my power to protect it.

"Elowen," Thalior said softly, his voice pulling me from my reverie. "I have something to ask you."

I turned to him, my heart pounding in my chest. There was a seriousness in his eyes that made my breath catch. "What is it, Thalior?"

He took both my hands in his, his grip firm and reassuring. "I know we have always spoken of our future, of ruling Aeloria together. But I want to make it official, to pledge my love and loyalty to you before all others. Will you, Princess Elowen Sylrae, do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Tears of joy welled up in my eyes, and I nodded, unable to speak. This was the moment I had dreamed of, the culmination of years of friendship and love. "Yes, Thalior," I whispered. "Yes, I will marry you."

He pulled me into his arms, and we shared a kiss, our love sealing a promise that would shape the future of Aeloria. As we stood there, embraced by the beauty of our kingdom and the warmth of our love, I felt a sense of peace and contentment.

The road ahead might be fraught with challenges, but with Thalior by my side, I knew we could face anything.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of joy and celebration. Word of our engagement spread quickly, and the palace buzzed with excitement. My father was overjoyed, his eyes shining with pride as he embraced us both.

"Elowen, my dear," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "You have chosen well. Thalior will make a fine husband and a worthy king."

"Thank you, Father," I replied, my heart swelling with happiness. "I believe so too."

As evening fell, I found myself alone in the palace chapel, a place of quiet reflection and solace. The flickering candlelight cast a warm glow on the ancient stone walls, and I knelt before the altar, offering a prayer for the future.

"May the light of Aeloria guide us," I whispered. "May our love bring peace and prosperity to our kingdom."

In that moment of stillness, I felt a profound sense of gratitude. For my family, for Thalior, and for the kingdom I was destined to lead. Aeloria was a land of magic and beauty, and I vowed to protect it with all my heart.

As I rose and made my way back to my chamber, the night sky stretched out above me, a tapestry of stars. The future was unknown, full of both promise and peril, but I was ready to face it. With love as my guide and duty as my anchor, I would navigate the path ahead.

For I was Princess Elowen Sylrae of Aeloria, and my story was only just beginning.

Defy The Alpha(s)

Two centuries after the Great War, peace between humans and werewolves was finally achieved, or so everyone believes. Werewolves reign like gods, and humans remain blissfully unaware of their true place in the new world order. To maintain this fragile balance, each year, a handful of "lucky" humans are selected from various districts to attend Lunaris Academy, a prestigious institution that promises glory, status, and a chance to mingle with the elite. Those chosen are hailed as the lucky few, destined to marry powerful alphas and rise as luna. This year, Violet Purple is among the chosen, much to everyone's surprise. For an orphaned girl adopted by a disgraced prostitute, this is a golden ticket to a better life or so she's told. But Lunaris Academy isn’t the paradise it’s painted to be. Everything Violet and her fellow humans have been taught is a lie. Humans are far from equal; they're pawns in a much larger game. The academy is nothing but a gilded cage, and the students are lambs led to slaughter, playthings for the alphas to toy with in their ruthless games. To make matters worse, Violet catches the attention of the most dangerous players in this game, the Terror Four: the Alpha of the North, Alpha of the South, Alpha of the East, and Alpha of the West. Each one is more dangerous, more twisted, and more powerful than the last. But even among themselves, the alphas are divided, each with their own deadly ambitions. Yet, they all have their eyes on her. They expect Violet to play along, to fall in line like the others who worship at their feet, to break under their games. But Violet isn’t like the others. She refuses to bow. She’ll defy them all. *********** With a grin that made her uneasy, he handed the application to her. “Approve this one.” Principal Jameson’s curiosity got the better of her as she took the paper from him, her eyes scanning the text. Almost immediately, her breath caught in her throat, her eyes widening in disbelief. “What the...?” “It’s perfect, isn’t it?” Asher’s voice was almost gleeful. Fucking psychopath! Jameson could hardly believe what she was reading. “Mr. Nightshade, with all due respect, this applicant….this girl just admitted to—” She couldn’t even finish the sentence, still horrified at the explicit nature of the application. Taking a deep breath, she continued, “I’m sorry, but I cannot approve this.” “She’s issued me a challenge,” Archer said, a dark gleam in his eyes. “What?” “‘Wait till you see me in bed,’” he repeated the bold line from the application, his grin widening. “And I can’t wait to find out.” “Mr. Nightshade—” He stood up, cutting off her protest as he fixed her with an intense stare. “Approve the application. I won’t ask again.” Without waiting for her response, Asher strode out of the office, confident she would follow his orders. He always got what he wanted. Archer Nightshade walked down the hall, a spring in his step. For the first time in a long while, he felt alive, his blood pulsing with excitement. The other Cardinal Alphas had no idea what he was up to, but it would soon hit them. He’d just set the game in motion. And the target was Violet Purple. It was game on. Note : This is not your average werewolf story. Eveything you think you know about werewolves would be challenged in this book. And yes, it is reverse harem. Do give the book a try.
