Soon after Aliana and Lucien finished breakfast they went for a walk outside, the skies were dark purple and heavy. The threat of a storm loomed overhead, the large trees that surrounded Northmarch castle tumbled wildly in the large gusts of wind that began to pick up.
Aliana loved storms and their chaotic but cleansing energy, she began to get excited at the prospect of a large-scale storm.
"Do you want to go back inside?" Lucien asked taking in the skies as they walked around the gardens to the hedge maze.
"Why in the name of the goddess would I want to do that?" Aliana asked. "I want to be in the rain."
"You're not scared of storms anymore?" Lucien asked curiously.
Aliana raised her eyebrows. "You remembered that?"
"How could I forget the little princess quaking under a table, terrified of the thunder booming and the flashes of lightning?" Lucien smiled.
"I was not that little," Aliana countered.
