After Marlyn selected the dress that she wanted to wear, which was the one that I had chosen for her, the rest of the young girls living in the palace entered and started to choose dresses for themselves.
This time Camilla, Chiara and I were sitting down drinking tea whereas the girls were enjoying socializing with Marilyn and having her select their dresses or ask her input on them.
I glanced at the tea cup that was in the hands of Merilyn's mother in law. It was blood red in colour and it only made me wonder why she was thinking that in a teacup.
"You can ask me you know," Camilla smiled and shifted close, "I will be honest in telling you as much as I can." The motherly expression on her face told me that she was trying to help me out but the words also gave away that she was not ready to cross the boundaries set for her.
