48 The inn - II

The hour of breakfast arrived quickly and so did The merchant. As soon as he entered the establishment his eyes looked for Marilyn but found mine instead. They widened in shock when they see me and he made his way towards me without waiting.

"My lady," his concerned eyes melted my heart and he raised his hands, which I immediately placed mine into, "when your guardian sent for us yesterday I was afraid of the fact that you were abducted but now that I see you, here I am relieved. Are you alright?" He looked at me and somehow I knew that it was not a case of pervasiveness but concern. He was looking to see if I was harm physically or not.

"I am fine, sir," I nodded with a small smile, "Thank you." His concern felt good. His words felt even better. 

He nodded her there was concern in his eyes, "Yes bu—"
