Revealed

'The words he just said kept repeating in my head. Did I hear wrong? Bruise? How does he know?'

Tasia frowned in confusion.

"You're crazy. I don't have any bruises other than at my knee from playing basketball."

Hadyan chuckled, "If you don't mind.. I want to be honest, that I'm tired of being patient, especially if you're not good at lying."

Hearing it and seeing the look on that guy's face made Tasia's back covered with cold sweat. Her heart was beating so fast that her eyes were shaking, unable to focus.

'So, my suspicion has been right all this time, that Hadyan is not an ordinary human. He's not the boy people think he is.' Tasia thought.

"You kids are still here?"

Unbeknownst to them, Miss Lensy was already standing in the doorway with her arms folded across her chest, watching the two of them. Hadyan immediately looked back, where the woman was standing.

"Ah.. sorry Miss, I think Tasia's condition is getting worse," Hadyan replied with a worried face.

Miss Lensy approached, then she noticed Tasia's face was pale and sweating profusely. The girl looked weak and just sat there with a blank stare.

"Tasia? Are you okay? Are you feeling dizzy again? Your body is so cold." Miss Lensy lightly massaged Tasia's shoulders and arms.

"Maybe Tasia should go home, Miss. My house happens to be close to hers. If it's allowed, I can take her home." Offer Hadyan.

"H.. huh? N.. no need.." Tasia stuttered, afraid things would get worse. She couldn't trust this guy at all, even more, if she has to be taken home by him.

"It's okay, Tasia. Let Hadyan take you home. I will be in charge to your homeroom teacher. And don't worry about Hadyan also. Now you can go home, okay?" Said Miss Lensy.

Although just a little, she knows the state of Tasia who is an orphan. This girl doesn't have a family that wants to pick her up just because of a trivial matter like this.

Since first knowing her, Tasia used to rest in the clinic room even after school hours. If at this time someone wanted to take her, it would be a good thing so Tasia could rest well at home.

"But, Miss. I..."

"It's okay, Anastasia. I'll take you home safely. Don't worry." Hadyan smiled gently.

"Okay, Hadyan. Please take Tasia home now, okay? And.. don't try to run away after. I want you to go straight back to school, once you got her home. Don't even think to go anywhere!" She threatened.

Hadyan smiled, "Don't worry Miss. We'll go now."

Tasia couldn't help it anymore. Apart from being surprised, for some reason, she felt her body so weak that she couldn't even speak much.

Hadyan led Tasia to the school lobby and helped her sit on the waiting bench while he called a taxi. A small smile tugged at his sweet lips.

'I'm not evil. I just don't like waiting too long.' Hadyan defends himself from guilt.

When the taxi came, Hadyan immediately helped Tasia to get into the car and they both sat in the back passenger seat with Hadyan still holding Tasia's weak shoulders. The guy told the driver where their destination is, and the car started to drive away.

'Looks like it's safe to let go of my grip. She wouldn't jump out of the car, would she?'

Hadyan closed his eyes for a moment, then the feeling of weakness and dizziness that Tasia felt slowly disappeared. He let go of the girl's shoulders and shifted slightly to give Tasia some space to breathe.

'He!! Did he do this to me?!'

Tasia glared, staring intently at the side of Hadyan's face. It seemed that Tasia's suspicion was right, because a small smirk formed on the guy's lips frightfully, causing Tasia to shiver.

Hadyan turned his face to the girl who is scared but still insisted on glaring at him with such a fierce face.

"Who are you?" Tasia asked in a trembling voice.

"Who am I? You already know, I'm Hadyan, your classmate."

"Don't joke. You're not just my classmate. Who are you really?" Tasia repeated. Lower the volume a little so that their strange conversation wouldn't be heard by the taxi driver.

"Oh? What do you want me to be? Your boyfriend? Or.. your husband?" He chuckled at his own unfunny joke.

"So funny, Hadyan! I know you're not an ordinary person. Are you studying black magic? Oh.. Or are you actually a perverted criminal who uses his black magic to ensnare girls?"

Tasia's heart began to beat fast and fast as anger overcame her fear. There was only one thing she could think of. If it was true, that Hadyan is a perverted criminal with black magic, then her life must be over in the hands of that guy.

"Your insults are too painful, Anastasia. I am not a perverted man like you claim. We are honourable princes who will not harm or denounce women. We are a dignified clan."

"Prince?" Tasia laughed condescendingly, "You mean the black magic you are learning is called 'prince'? Enough of your bullshit, Hadyan. Now tell me what's your goal for always playing tricks on me?"

Hadyan sighed to regulate his patience, "I'm not playing tricks on you, Tasia. I just want to be closer to you, because I like you. Understood?"

Tasia shifted her seat back just to find her back was against the door. She blinked several times before a surprised laugh escaped her still pale lips.

"Hem.. If you really like me, ok then. But, do you need to do all this to me? Do you think, you can get close to me by using dirty methods like this? Do you know that using black magic is a very big sin?! That's the same as you serve the devil!"

"I don't use black magic. I don't know what else I should use. You are getting closer to Patra every day." He's been honest.

"Hey, Hadyan. Patra is a special person to me. He's been my best friend for a long time. He always makes me laugh and smile. Unlike you, who suddenly came and ruined my day!" Tasia snapped.

Hadyan was silent. He felt a strange pain in his chest, something he had never felt before. The pain pressed so tightly against his chest that he couldn't reply to Tasia's words.

"Turn right at the crossroads ahead, Sir," Tasia said to the driver.

The taxi drove into the housing estate and stopped in front of a minimalist, two-floor house with a black fence. Tasia immediately got off after paying the taxi fare before Hadyan could do so.

"Thanks for taking me home. You have nothing else to do here, so you can go back now. I insist." Tasia said in a cold tone. Then she was about to walk towards the fence of her house to ring the bell. But her steps stopped when Hadyan caught her left arm.

"I won't ever let you. Remember that." He said with a straight face and jaw clenched.
