Friends forever

Years have passed since Ana died, it has been 7  years ago since she died, and all her mom does is take good care of Gen and Anita since there was no one to do so, but sometimes she stays on the beach all alone thinking about her lost daughter, but whenever Gen or Anita sees her there they will try to cheer her up because the little kids have found out about their dead mom at a very tender age."Come on grandma let's go inside ok"Gen said to his grandma, "Gen is that not Samuel? what's he doing here by this time of the day?"Anita said when she saw their childhood good friend Samuel coming to where they were standing.  Gen helped her grandma to stand up from the ground where she was sitting beside the river."Grandma common let's go" Anita said as she ran back and helped her grandma to walk. 

  Samuel saw that he was lagging so he added more speed just to catch up with them."Common Grandma you have to be fast we can't let that boy catch up with us, because I hate it when he is around us,  he talks off point"Anita said. When they got to their house they entered and Anita locked the door behind them, Gen noticed this and was confused, "hey didn't you see Samuel coming?" he asked, "yeah I saw him and so what?"Anita replied "common let him in, he is our friend," Gen said but Anita refused to open the door for Samuel. When Samuel got there he was surprised to see the door locked, at first he thought it was just a play they were playing with him, but now it was clear to him that someone does not want him inside their house."Gen open the door is me Samuel!!"  he screamed, this made Anita laugh when she heard him."  No, I don't want you in here!" she shouted "please Anita I know you are the one behind this but I didn't come for you I just came to meet my friend Gen!" Samuel shouted again,  "ok just promise you won't disturb my peace in here and you won't talk off point in here !" she said "yeah promise" Samuel said. Samuel leaned on the door and was shouting all this while, when Anita opened the door Samuel couldn't notice it in time so he fell in. when Anita saw this she started laughing at him, but Gen rushed to Samuel and took him up, "are you okay?"Gen asked "yeah I am okay just trying to be strong in any situation" Samuel replied off point again, this made Anita so angry then she ran upstairs to her room. Gen noticed it and started laughing, "hey grandma how are you?"Samuel asked as he saw their grandma sitting on a wooden chair in the corner." I  am good and what about your parents?" the old woman asked," they are fine, looking amazing every day, you know just like the  king and queen" Samuel replied, but when Gen heard, his mood changed immediately he dragged Samuel back and punched him, this made Samuel flew away and fell on the floor, "hey Gen stop that!" Grandma said and stood up, Anita heard this and ran downstairs immediately, "what is happening here?" she asked, but got no answer, "ahh that was hurt "Samuel said when he got up," I am sorry but don't repeat that" Gen apologized and went outside," are you okay?" grandma asked "yeah I am " Samuel answered.

    Anita couldn't wait for replies anymore so she went outside to meet her brother so that he could explain what happened back there. When she got to where Gen was standing throwing stones at the river, she went to his front and stood, facing Gen "bro tell me what happened back there" she said," he called the king and the Queen in my present"Gen replied, immediately Anita heard this she quickly ran back to their house, "hey Samuel what did you say!!" she shouted at Samuel when she got there. Samuel was receiving treatment from grandma because the punch Gen gave him on his face made his left cheek swell up."Anita stop it now, can't you see your bro has injured him, relax you guys are overreacting "grandma said, making Anita go away. "Grandma believe me I didn't mean to hurt them with what I said, I was just trying to explain how my parents are faring"Samuel confessed, "you have not done anything wrong to them but you have just reminded them of what belongs to their mom, "grandma said and continue with the treatment, "I think I should apologize to my best friends in the whole world, "Samuel said "that is what you should do " grandma replied. Samuel stood up immediately, he thanked grandma for using hot water to make him feel better, then he ran to the beach, and immediately after he got there he saw the two of them lying on the ground beside the river pointing at the sky."Hey guys I'm sorry about what I said. Please can I be forgiven?"Samuel said Anita, looked at him and started laughing, but Gen wasn't laughing. He stood up with his sister and they hugged each other," best friends forever right?"Gen said after the hug "yeah best friends forever," Samuel replied"and please don't say that again okay" Anita said, 

Samuel nodded his head to show that he won't do it again. When grandma sighted this from their house because their house was not far from the river, she was very happy to see the kids getting along again," the gods can never be deceived" she muttered. 

   "Common guys, let's go plug mango in the forest," Gen said."Which forest?"Samuel asked "don't you know where the mango trees are? is in the lion's den forest, that evil forest" Anita said but now sounds scary, this made Samuel scared and he suggested that they should stay back "hmm can't we just stay back and leave it for tomorrow?" he asked."No, we cannot, we need to start going so that we can get there in time" Anita said and started moving towards the forest, Gen followed her so Samuel had no choice but to join them.
