CHAPTER 7:- ''Twinkle Was Taken''

It was another bright morning for the young, lovebirds and axel had awakened from the birds outside chirping and the bright sun was, shining on his eyes. Axel got up, he was half-clothed. he did remember taking a shower last night.

He turns his eyes to say good morning to Twinkle.

Twinkle wasn't in the bed. Axel freaked out. He called out her name, many times. she always answers back to him. This time the whole house was too quiet Axel checks all the rooms and no sign of Twinkle was seen. all the windows and doors were closed and he double-checked. Twinkle's belongings were all gone. It didn't make sense she couldn't just pack and leave without informing him.

Axel knew that something was trembly wrong and that he look around and came across a note on the table. the person's handwritten note was quite scary and stated that the person who took her went far away to hide her and brought her back to her real home where she belongs. It sounds sketchy to Axel because of the handwriting. The culprit left the home address where she is. If anybody were to find her. Axel couldn't stay back home and do nothing she could be in great danger. Axel packs a few stuff to set off on another journey, rescuing twinkle. ''

He got his stuff and asked a favor his friend to hand him, one of the palace, horses!

His friend did and hand him a mighty, black horse and he rode off as the gates open up and he set off to the city in search of his lover again. To bring back Twinkle home! Axel was well smart in knowing the direction of each town and city in the world. He knew that there was an abandoned tower that he came across on his journey once, a few months ago, but didn't seem to take a deep look into the tower because nobody lived there for centuries. the locals said that nobody lived there and it was left behind.

'' Axel knew that he will return to that tower once again and find his lover could be. his worries, his mind was clouded with twinkles should be safe and not hurt. ''

Axel march through the rivers and high peak mountains, through the valleys, and into the deepest forest. he finally ended his journey to a stop near a tower he spotted miles away. He guessed it right that it was the same tower that he saw a few months ago and never changed a bit. It was in the same condition. Axel got off his horse and look around the tower and the surrounding. It was quiet and full of greeny. he looked at the tall tower and thought of an idea and managed to climb up the window was open for him to jump in. he was trained to be a good climber but he did manage to find a hidden passage door that leads up the tower top. the door was open and unlocked so he walked in freely and saw tons of stairs going up to Twinkle's room. '' He had a lucky guess that the window could be her room. This was all planned well.

there could be a trap at any moment leading to his doom. he had a feeling if things take a turn, he had a safer option, keeping his dagger, hidden in his pocket. If anybody were to stab him. Axel got the highest top and saw a door leading to her room.

He closely took deep breaths and opened the door and walked in. Axel turn around and saw the room was so huge, he turn and spot Twinkle blindfolded and tied up with a rope. He ran to her, '' TWINKLE! ''

Axel yells as he saw her, '' I found you. '' *He got closer to her.

She became conscious as she saw his lover's face. he was trying to take the tape off, and her mouth was unable to breathe, as he took it off, she can breathe freely. Twinkle saw someone behind him and had a knife in the kidnapper's hand. she screamed to him. Twinkle saw the shadow figure holding a knife, '' Axel! Look behind you! ''

'' Where! ''

Axel dodged the kidnapper's attack and finally saw the kidnapper's face. He couldn't swear what he was looking at, '' Wait a minute, You aren't a doll! ''

He can't explain the tall big dark man, '' What are you! '' *the shadow seems not afraid but kept a straight face at him.

The shadow man,'' You ruined my whole plan. ''

'' You came under my trap. ''

'' Poor girl couldn't save herself when her hero couldn't even hold his dagger right away to strike for the kill. she was always the one afraid of me. ''

'' You can't get rid of me with that dagger. ''

Axel said, '' You aren't a doll. ''

'' Of course, I'm not. ''

The shadow man, '' That is why I am her grandmother's shadow that has been hiding here for 5000 years and I also haunt this place since she was a child. ''

Axel said, '' You cruel thing. ''

'' I am worst. ''

'' I am a living nightmare! ''

'' I live under the walls of this tower and took care of this lady here for many years. ''

Axel said, '' It means you have done the killings from years ago. ''

'' It was all your doings so that nobody finds you were hiding here. ''

The Shadow man said, '' Bingo! ''

Axel said, '' You are so sick. ''

'' How in other ways will you will kill me? ''

'' I am just only a shadow. ''

Twinkle said, '' Don't listen to him. he just trying to play tricks with your mind! ''

The Shadow man said, '' Shut up, young lady. ''

'' You are in lots of trouble. ''

'' If it weren't for your loverboy here that you ran off to another city, I had to go find you myself to bring you back. ''

Axel said, '' Huh? ''

'' Is it true? You actually ran away. ''

'' Is it true? Twinkle! ''

Twinkle said, '' It's a long story. ''

Axel said, '' We promised that we will tell each other everything. ''

Twinkle said, '' I did run away. So! I can get away from this thing. ''

'' I never felt to lie to you, Axel! '' *she coughs

'' Believe me! ''

The Shadow man said, '' It seems lover boy mind is troubled. ''

'' I'm thinking that she didn't tell you that she isn't from here as well? ''

Axel said, '' What is this shadow talking about again? It doesn't make sense. ''

'' Don't listen to it. ''

The Shadow man said, '' She isn't real. ''

'' She isn't from this world but another world. ''

'Axel said, ' Is he telling the truth! ''

'Twinkle said, '' You have said enough. ''

'' Yes. ''

'' I was trying to tell you from the beginning but I fell in love with you I thought after I leave. I wouldn't want you hurt. ''

Axel said, '' I am already hurt because a shadow is telling me this now. ''

'' You didn't tell me this sooner. ''

Twinkle said, '' I am sorry. ''

'' I did it so that my grandmother couldn't disappear from me. ''

'' If I told you. ''

Twinkle said, '' If you found out. I wouldn't have existed and we couldn't have met. you wouldn't have memories of me. ''

The Shadow man said, '' She is weak. ''

Twinkle said, '' I'm not weak. ''

The Shadow man said, '' You fool grandmother can't even leave the tower. ''

'' Your grandmother is nothing but a coward. ''

Axel said, ''

'' Time out. ''

'' I can't make a decision on what to do. '' *his dagger fell to the ground.

The shadow took his knife and was about to stab near his heart until Twinkle did the most heroic thing.

Twinkle open the ropes and took the dagger and stabbed the shadow, '' I know. which is why I will finish what my grandmother couldn't do. ''

Twinkle picks his dagger and stabs it in the center, '' I will do it myself to end this all. ''

She took the dagger and stab it, near the shadow's heart. the shadow could feel the stab and saw his hand, bleeding black blood, was coming out. Twinkle saw the shadow slowly losing its ability and power. Axel got hurt in the middle as she saw one of his hands get wounded. the shadow disappeared into ashes and dust in the air.

Twinkle could breathe freely and open about the end has come upon her. To start a new life of the chapter. Axel was laying down on the other side and twinkle throw the dagger aside and walk to him and sat near him. She got worried so she start bandaging his hand that was wounded. Axel saw that tinkle was trying to comfort him, '' Why are you doing this? ''

Twinkle said, '' You could have done the same for me. ''

'' Don't ask too many questions. ''

Axel stares as she looks cute with her pissed face, '' I am not. '' *zips his mouth

'' What will happen to your grandma? ''

Twinkle spoke, '' She will finally be free from this place and doesn't have to worry about being scared to leave. ''

'' It's her decision. ''

Axel said, '' I see. ''

Twinkle thanks him for coming to her rescue, '' Thanks for coming to rescue me. ''

Axel hurt said, '' I didn't do much. ''

Twinkle said, '' I apologize for before, lying to you. ''

'Axel said, '' Is all in the past now. ''

'' I can't stay mad at you. ''

Twinkle said, '' Why is that? ''

Axel said, '' Because I love you. ''

Grandma appeared before the two. Axel looked up and saw the young lady who had an identical face to Twinkle, he spoke, '' is that your grandma? ''

Twinkle said, '' Yes, she is my grandmother. ''

Axel said, '' Did I do a good job? Granny? ''

Grandma said, '' I am so proud of you. ''

'' Now! the time is right to go home for you. ''

'' Your world is calling for you! ''

'' This boy must stay here. ''

Twinkle said, '' I know that he can't go with me. ''

'' Will you be alright without me? ''

Axel said, '' I will be fine. ''

Grandma said, '' You have done enough, ''

Twinkle said, '' Let me just finish bandaging his hand. I will go back with you. ''

Grandma said, '' Very well! ''

Axel said, '' You are hurting me. ''

Twinkle said, '' Hold still! ''

'' You are moving your hand a lot. ''

Twinkle explains the whole journey of her story and why she was brought here in the first place to Axel.

Grandma said, '' I am leaving you guys alone for a while. ''

Axel asks, '' What will happen to us? ''

Twinkle said, '' I don't know. ''

'' I'm not sure. ''

Axel hold her hand one more time, '' Don't worry, if you go, doesn't mean we won't meet again. ''

Twinkle said, '' Hope! ''

'' We will meet again in another life. ''

Axel said, '' It doesn't mean I won't marry any woman who isn't impressive as I met you. ''

Twinkle said, '' How charming of you to say that so bold of you. ''

Axel said, '' What can I say? You grow on me. ''

'' Alright, I will remember you then. ''

Twinkle said, '' I know. '' *They both kissed one last time.

Twinkle was done banging his wound and got off the ground and called his grandma, her grandma appeared again. '' Did you call for me? ''

'' I think I'm ready to go! ''

Grandma is back, '' Very well. '' *Opens a portal back home.

Grandma mumbled ancient words, a portal appear before them. '' Step inside! ''

Axel went like, '' Woah! ''

Twinkle said, '' You will get used to it. '' *Grandma spoke.

Grandma stepped into the portal and now it was Twinkle's turn.

Axel grab her hand before, he would let her go, she was about to step into the portal, '' If I ever see you again! ''

Axel said, '' Keep your heart open for me! ''

'' Okay? ''

She smiled back at him, lovingly, and said this. Twinkle said, '' I will. ''

She was facing the portal, she had enough time to ask him, she has forgot to mention to ask him before she goes, '' I never had the chance to ask you! your full name? ''

Axel screams, '' It's AXEL EDITH! '''

'' If you see my future self. ''

'' Just say this. ''

'' I will know, it is you. ''

She nod her head down and smiled back at him, '' Mhm. ''

'' Farewell, My love. ''

'' May you live happily! ''

She said with a smile, '' Until we meet again. '' *she turn back and walked into the portal.

Axel saw the portal disappear and came out of the tower with an upset-looking face. he rides on his horse on his way back home, as he stares at an object in his hand, he was holding something 'Precious' closer to his heart, in remembrance of the 'Twinkle' face showing up and all memories they had shared. if he has ever forgotten about her. He will put on a smile on his face as he wishes that she could have stayed longer for time being but he knew that he kept hope in his heart that someone or one day.

(They will meet again!)

'' He will wait for her! ''

He sang along a (Love Song), on his way, on the road, back to his homeland!

He sings on his way back home, '' Loud and clear as the whole world can hear him. ''

His journey continues on and the chapter doesn't end from here. Twinkle returns home safely in peace.
