After Ben left the studio he called Nicole, who had been waiting for his call alongside Dan who was still pacing.
"I'm sorry, but she can't talk right now," Ben said apologetically, and Nicole exchanged a look with Dan, who had also heard what Ben said since the call had been on speaker.
"Is she alright? I hope she's not ill?" Nicole asked hopefully.
"She is fine. She's just not really in the mood to talk right now," Ben said apologetically.
"Alright then, that's fine. Thanks," Nicole said before hanging up.
"What does that mean? How can she not be in the mood to talk?" Dan asked with a frown.
"She is definitely avoiding you. And I guess she has no problem avoiding me either since she doesn't even know me," Nicole said reasonably, and Dan frowned.
"I guess I will have to push the trip forward and go to Rodena tomorrow," Dan said, making up his mind to resolve everything as soon as possible.
