Newfound Friendship
After having her breakfast, Bella was now seated opposite Zach. Yesterday he had refused to talk to her. Today, she was just going to try another approach.
He had sounded like he was angry with her the day before. So she was going to apologize to him even though she didn't know exactly why. Maybe that could get her on his good side. She thought as she kept looking at Zach.
Zach was also staring at Bella, wondering why the lad was looking at him. If this was a staring competition, then the lad had better be prepared to lose.
If Zach were asked to choose between running errands all through the day and staying with the ill-mannered lad, then he'd definitely choose the former. He just couldn't understand why Dan was putting up with him. Zach thought with a frown.
After a while of looking at each other without saying a word to each other, Bella cleared her throat as a way to get Zach's attention when she saw that he seemed to have zoned out.
