Neither of them said a word to each other all through the drive home. Bella was pissed off. Dan was fuming, and Zach... Well, Zach was just trying not to get in the middle of what was happening between the two of them. The manager of the club had asked his bouncers to throw them out.
"We don't condone violence here!" The manager had said red-faced, "What if she had sustained an injury? Can you take responsibility for that?" He had asked, looking from the stripper to Bella.
"I did ask her nicely to get off me, and everyone here can bear witness to it," Bella had responded, equally angry. She blamed Dan and Zach for all of this. What had they been thinking doing something like this? She turned to look at Candy and realised that Candy had snuck away already. Of course, there was no way she would want her boss to know that she was with the patrons who had caused trouble.
"Shut up," Zach whispered to Bella.
