Even after the death of the void pieces of him still live on.The pieces that split from him were called the seven primordial sins. The sins were lust,greed,pride,gluttony,envy,wrath and sloth each representing a strong desire for something to such lengths that it hurts others.

Each sin when released from the control of the void stayed true to their unique desires.Lust raped man and woman,wrath destroyed anything in its path,pride became a tyrant of a king to have people endlessly feed his ego,gluttony just ate anything it could,envy killed any person it thought was better than it in any way looks,skills or even breathing,greed hoarded everything it saw as valuable while sloth slept all the way through it all.

Soon the sins which originally didn't think and could only be controlled by each of their desires became strong enough to push back their desire.Thus they could think, but alas after they saw the horror and chaos they did while under control of their desires they knew they wouldn't be welcomed anywhere.

So they decided to give their power to a mortal to not let themselves go berserk ever again.Of course doing this, the consciousness they had managed to gain would be destroyed.While the mortal who they gave the power to would gain their power.

Of course they knew there were flaws in this plan especially if the mortal they gave their power to destroyed the world. So they decided to put locks on the power they gave the mortal that unlocks the more time they put into practising.After all slowly gained success builds character, quick success builds ego.

Thus each of them found a mortal to impart their powers to every single of them except one me, the primordial sin of sloth.

"why didn't you chose a mortal to impart your powers to?" I said with some suspicion after all who would trust some random person coming out of nowhere saying he is a god?

"I knew my power was the easiest and quickest to refine and break the lock on so I needed to find someone with a perfect personality.Of course you are nowhere near perfect but I am tired of looking around so I chose you." The man said listlessly

"What do you mean it is the easiest to break the lock on?" I asked with some doubt.

"sigh I mean that all one has to do to unlock my power once they've been given it is sleep long enough or kill people." the man once more sighed as if he wouldn't be killed after I received his power.

"I can understand sleeping but why killing people?" I asked confused "That's a trait every single one of the sins have. Their power retained the hate for living beings from the void when he died." he responded quickly obviously wanting to be done with the questions.

"also why does the demons pray to all the sins except you?" i asked with slight anger in my voice after all if demons prayed to the sin of sloth I wouldn't be banished."There are two answers to that question one no one knows about me except the other sins because I slept through all the chaos and didn't do anything or I guess it would be fair to say the mortals they gave their power to know as well.Two, every single one of the mortals chosen by the other sins started making legends therefore being prayed to while I didn't have a chosen mortal so there was no one to spread the legend of sloth." he said this all in one breath and seemed exhausted.

"what abou-" I was about to ask another question but the man interrupted me mid sentence "enough, I didn't think the tough part would be giving my power to someone. Sigh will you accept the power or not?" the man said exasperation clear on his face.

"What is there to think about I have nothing no home,no love and no sin well I guess I have one now." I said " You aren't going to be blessed by me i'm going to give you all my power of course with the locks on it." he said and then the environment started changing what used to be a golden room with a bed in it turned into a room with white everywhere with a bed in the middle.

I also noticed there was a metal tray next to the bed with all sorts of tools and a huge thing hanging above the bed."What is this place?" I asked "When i was travelling to this planet I stopped at a lot of other planets to sleep this is a room in one of them for treating injuries." After he said that I appeared in the bed with straps on my wrists.

"What is happening!?" I said surprised and worried "This is the process, i'm going to warn you this is going to hurt... a lot." He said while appearing next to the tray of tools grabbing a knife like one and touching the object hanging above me causing it to shine a bright light at my chest.

Then began the most painful part of my life yet, he first took the knife and opened my chest then ripped out my heart and took out a bright light from himself and shoving it in where my heart would be then he moved up to my head and took out a spinning blade.

"This is going to be messy..." I heard him say before he shoved down the spinning blade on my head.I felt unbelievable pain but I didn't see the spinning blade go down any further."Huh I guess this is how far magicless weapons go." I heard him say once more before I could be angry that he was using magicless tools I saw him grow his nails longer and pierce them into my head then I blacked out.

When i Woke up I instantly tried to look for the man that made me suffer through such pain but soon realized I was back in the forest.I immediately began checking myself for the wounds but found out they were gone not only that my skin seemed paler then it was before.

Then I thought of something and ran to look for a lake also noting my speed and stamina seemed to have increased.Finally I reached a lake and looked at my reflection though the lake was dirty making it hard to see myself I could see that my hair was now longer and purple my eyes also became more amethyst in colour they almost seemed to shine while face became more handsome.
