The New Surprising Headquarters

North of the far-reaching Land of Fire, was an area of geographical uncertainty.

In between the Land of Waterfalls in the West, and the Land of Sound in the East was an area composed of many extremely smaller scattered countries.

It was a unique area in the world. This was the only place where the previous small village-states, from the Warring States period, still existed and prevailed.

For the past few days, Anko and Yoshi passed by and visited a small myriad of them. Different architecture, cultures, people, present in all of them distinctively.

All in search of one place called the Hoshigakure, or the Village Hidden in Stars.

Yoshi remembered this particular village clearly from his previous life's memory.

That village has always somehow intrigued him, and was in the back of his mind, ever since he crossed here. Their strange and mysterious galactic power source, in particular.

And, now was the perfect time to finally visit it!

However, as he didn't know where it was clearly, he could only assume that it was somewhere in this particular area of the world.

That's why he took Anko now to visit many of the native small villages here, asking them if they knew something about the mysterious Hoshigakure. And after a while, they finally realized the precise location of that village.

"Does it really have such a magical stone, Yoshi?"

Anko who was currently running right beside Yoshi asked, all of sudden.

The biggest rumor they heard about that village on their way, was its mystical stone with supposed magical capabilities.

Yoshi didn't know anything more about that village as well. That strange purple meteorite was the only thing he could remember right know about the village in question. Yoshi explained to her that he knew a little about that village before, thanks to his Uzumaki clan's annals.

"We'll see for ourselves once we finally get there, Anko!" Yoshi just smiled and replied expectingly.

Hoshigakure is one of the lesser-known shinobi villages in the ninja world. Its village's shinobi emblem was simply a star at this time.

Hoshigakure was formed sometime after a strange meteorite, which the inhabitants called just the "star", struck its location two hundred years earlier.

Its leader is the Hoshikage, although the leader is a Kage in name only. The other big villages do not recognize Hoshigakure as an equal, nor is there any ninja truly worthy of the title.

The meteorite itself was not that large, but it emitted strange chakra-enhancing radiation.

The First Hoshikage was able to devise a training method to allow the ninja in the village to harness the power of the star, thus allowing the ninja to gain supernatural chakra levels.

The technique used to harness this power is the Mysterious Peacock Method.

Upon the development of the skill, the meteorite was then set on top of an eagle's claw pedestal located inside of and at the very center of the Hoshi ninja training dojo, which was constructed for the very purpose of training future Hoshigakure shinobi.

When this technique is fully mastered, it gives the user almost unrivaled chakra control, to the point where they can solidify it as a shield or create wings for flight.

There is a small three-storied mansion inside the Hoshigakure, where the Hoshikage lives, receives visitors, and hands out assignments and missions.

On the front of it, there is a sign which bears the kanji for "Star".

The current Hoshikage of this village was the third one in order.

The Third Hoshikage was an honorable, kindhearted, elderly man with great love and pride for his village and the wellbeing of his subordinates.

The Third Hoshikage currently sat in his wooden office, thinking about something serious.

He was an elderly man with brown mustache and beard. Due to his old age, he also had cheekbones and tear troughs under his eyes.

His attire consisted of the traditional Hoshikage attire with the customary hat and haori along with a purple, full-length kimono, tied using a white sash.

Just recently the two of his most loyal and beloved subordinates, jonins Natsuhi and Hotarubi, completed the star training of their village.

However, after seeing the terrible side effects of the training, they stole the star to prevent further damage to other shinobi.

However, they were caught by him on time and he 'banished' them to keep an eye on the village after promising to stop the star training.

But, they still remained in an underground hideout which was stationed outside the village, within the nearby forests.

They were now tasked with keeping an eye for any foreign enemies, or internal proponents of the continuation of the dangerous star training.

Suddenly, the office's doors opened, and three different men entered a bit indignantly.

One of them is a bald man with thick black eyebrows and dark-colored eyes. He wore a purple forehead protector with a star symbol on his forehead and the usual purple-blue Hoshikagure's shinobi flak jacket.

One of them had long chin-length black hair and similarly dark-colored eyes. And he also wore the same forehead protector and the flak jacket.

And finally, the last man looked a bit more extraordinary. He was a man of a pale skin tone, he had a thin and bony face, blue eyes, and a narrow nose. He also had lilac-colored hair with a ponytail and a blue forehead protector. He suddenly started shouting passionately.

"Lord Hoshikage, with all due respect, I ask you to reconsider this decision!"

"The potential of that rock and that technique could bring to our village is enormous!"

"We can't discard them just like that!"

His name is Akahoshi and he was one of the more capable jonins in Hoshigakure.

He was referring to the Mysterious Peacock Method and the mystical meteorite.

The extraordinary meteorite crash-landed in near the current Hoshigakure roughly two hundred years ago.

In the vicinity of the crash, an entire forest was destroyed, and plants and trees would not be able to grow for years to come.

It was one of a kind thing in this world, as it was constantly emitting a strange type of chakra radiation.

The Mysterious Peacock Method works on utilizing that chakra energy of the said meteorite.

It makes it manifest in the form of a feather-shaped array behind the ninja and spreading out from behind them like a peacock's tail feathers, hence the name.

This chakra is easily manipulated into various shapes to create techniques, making it one of the most versatile jutsu around.

These techniques are honed through Star Training, which requires the ninja to spend large amounts of time focusing on their chakra and meditating in the presence of the meteorite.

But it also carries, just recently discovered, terrible drawbacks with it.

The meteorite's radiation greatly improves the user's chakra but is incredibly damaging to their physical body.

Even for those who master the technique, there is still a high chance that their body will slowly weaken and eventually perish.

This led the Third Hoshikage to ban the training recently after learning about all those things.

"Don't mention it again, Akahoshi! That technique is too dangerous for our people, no, for any human being to use!" The Third Hoshikage suddenly replied strongly and resolutely.

"But, then we'll never become truly equal to the other five great ninja villages like Lord First initially envisioned! We must -" Akahoshi attempted to argue again, not convinced yet, but the current Hoshikage shut him down promptly again.

"Akahoshi, it's enough!"

"What's the use of fame and recognition if the majority of our people would suffer as a result!?"

'Damn! You really won't leave me any choice, in the end, Hoshikage...'

Akahoshi suddenly thought indignantly and a bit maliciously.

Akahoshi was a man, extremely loyal to his village, that was also shown in his ambition for it to become as strong and respected as the five great villages.

His methods of obtaining that status and importance showed him as a ruthless and ambitious person who was even willing to endanger the village children in the quest for power, as seen from the previous dialogue with the Hoshikage.

He was also quite willing to commit murder as he literally considering slaying the Third Hoshikage now, after his requests got for the star training to be resumed, repeatedly got denied.

At the same time, Yoshi and Anko were also just approaching their village expeditiously, now running through a large forest again.

'So that's the Hoshigakure?'

'A man and a woman, hm...?'

'First time sensing a chakra aura this otherwordly and intriguing!'

"Anko, we're going to visit a really interesting pair first!"

Yoshi, whos eyes were previously closed in concentration, suddenly exclaimed loudly, feeling a bit interested and intrigued as well.

Anko just blinked curiously.

Later that particular day, somewhere in very secluded cabling in the middle of a forest, Hotarubi looked at his wife, who suddenly went outside a little feeling uneasy, in worry.

"Natsuhi what's wrong?" He also came outside and asked worriedly.

Hotarubi has a short crop of shaggy black hair and big brown eyes.

He wears a light purple-colored Hoshigakure forehead protector with part of his hair hanging down to the end of the left side of it. He wore a light purple-colored Hoshigakure flak jacket.

Natsuhi had jade-green-colored eyes and long violet hair.

She wore the standard Hoshigakure flak jacket and shorts.

"Nothing, I just felt a little troubled, like something bad, is about to happen..."

Natsuhi sighed worriedly.

...

"You're right, woman..."

Grinning Yoshi and helpless Anko suddenly casually emerged right from the nearby crowded forest trees.

They were not fazed in the slightest by their previous tireless and expeditious running towards here.

"Who are you!?"

Both Natsuhi and Hotarubi suddenly shouted and entered their battle stances already.

"Anko, leave these two to me! I want to check on something..." Yoshi grinned a little in anticipation, even licking his upper lip a little. 'Release that chakra right now... let me see it...'

"Fight me!" Yoshi flicked his fingers a little, his famous chains already springing up. Anko just moving back a little, in expectation.

'What the hell are those!?' The two Hoshigakure's shinobi thought in unison as they jumped back to avoid the upcoming attack.

But, just as they dodged them, four more previously hidden chains suddenly sprung up from the ground, dangerously aiming at their backs, as well.

'Not enough time!'

They suddenly looked at each other precariously and nodded solemnly.

'Mysterious Peacock Method: Wings!'

Strange light-purple-colored and dreamy-like chakra wings made of feathers, strong enough to support a normal-sized human in a short flight, appeared on their backs and enveloped their whole bodies effectively.

They quickly flew into the air, dodging some of the upcoming yellow chains and countering others successfully.

And instead of doing a follow-up attack, Yoshi just directed his chains back to him.

He started thinking seriously about something all of a sudden, for a second.

'This was definitely not a chakra familiar to this world...'

'This is more baffling and important than I thought...'

He just absorbed some of that purple cloud-like chakra during the previous attack with his chains.

'I feel like it could definitely cause some serious damage to my body if ingested in big quantities...'

"Come on! Why don't you attack me now, instead!?" He regained his composure a bit and asked playfully the shinobi pair who was now directly flying in the air above him.

"What are your intentions!?" The man who was not levitating in the air freely asked instead.

"I've heard recently that there's a special stone here, able to grant mysterious powers, so I thought I should take it for myself!..."

"Happy? Now you should attack me seriously!" Yoshi exclaimed, pretending to be a little greedy.

"What should we do now, Natsuhi?" The man asked his wife a bit unsurely.

"Isn't this what we were tasked to do, in the first place?"

"I'm sure he doesn't carry any good intentions towards our village!"

Natsuhi replied resolutely, looking at the unusually tall and muscular red-haired shinobi down bellow.

Hotarubi nodded promptly, shutting his hands close together fast, following his wife's movements.

'Mysterious Peacock Method: Destroy!'

Some of their previous violet-purple chakra feathers suddenly bounced off their wings, going straight towards Yoshi's and Anko's direction now quickly.

'Wow!' Anko thought incredulously while looking at this extraordinary scene, first time seeing any jutsu like that.

Yoshi also looked a little amazed but soon reacted appropriately.

'Blazing Adamantine Sealing Chains!'

Flaming chains and purple chakra feathers suddenly collided in the air loudly.

"He's strong!" Natsuhi suddenly exclaimed after seeing them so evenly matched.

"We should get closer and finish him with 'that'!"

The longer they use this chakra and this method, the worse for them...

So, they must and end this battle quickly!

Hotarubi nodded seriously.

''Mysterious Peacock Method: Beast!''

Their chakra feathers suddenly changed to form a ferocious beast.

The chakra that the beast is made of became dense enough to repel the hardest metal.

Even Anko grew a little worried after seeing those large and dense chakra beasts.

They looked really scary and dangerous.

'Marvelous!' Yoshi didn't panic after seeing this and immediately flickered right beside Anko, hugging her shoulder a little protectively.

He instantly extinguished the flames from his chains, and moved them closer to himself, forming some kind of a circular formation effectively.

He already learned how to form barriers with his Adamantine Sealing Chains, in the same way as Kushina did in the original series,

"Adamantine Sealing Chains: Wind Barrier!"

But, he could fuse them with wind chakra nature and shape transformations as well!

Anko opened her eyes a little wide in surprise.

Natsuhi and Hotarubi looked extremely shocked as their strongest combined attacks couldn't break through that barrier!

That was no ordinary wind, it was constantly swirling around at unprecedented speeds, making it so sharp and solid that not many things could truly pass through it in this world.

And, after the violet-colored pure chakra attack dissipated, Yoshi immediately ended his wind formation, turning into attack mode again.

And after a few minutes of hard struggle, he finally caught them remotely with his chains, not moving an inch from his place.

Bringing him closer to himself and Anko now, he just smiled plainly and suddenly said seriously.

"You two will make for great experiments!"

And, those were the last words the husband and wife heard in this life!

Anko looked at this scene, inadvertently feeling a bit excited!

She always somehow gets a little excited after seeing Yoshi's cruel behavior towards people.

Yoshi could notably sense this village's distinctive meteorite as well, thanks to its large chakra presence and radiation.

So, they soon secretly came towards the meteorite's hidden location in this small village.

"It's amazing..."

Anko exclaimed after seeing it from the distance.

"Don't come any closer, its radiation could be dangerous for you, I'll seal it now!"

Yoshi quickly said while getting closer to the peculiar stone from the space.

'So small, but yet so powerful, rivaling a tailed beast's chakra output capacity in actuality?'

'Then just how powerful would be a meteorite million times larger than this one!?'

'How many meteorites like this one are there in the universe?'

'And, how many of them fell onto other planets as well?'

'What are its relationships with the universe's current rulers, the great Otsutsuki clan?'

Yoshi suddenly got goosebumps, just thinking about all of this.

'So similar, yet so different from the God's Tree and chakra fruits...'

This was the first time he truly felt the real extent of the universal power scales.

'No use thinking about this now!'

'I'll do my best...'

'... But, in the end if I still get killed by the Otsutsuki clan or some other universal powerful force ...'

'... So be it! I'll become the strongest as I can be and live my life to the fullest with the people I care about until then!'

He thought while looking at Anko beside him softly for a moment,

The Third Hoshikage still sat in his office albeit pretty tiredly now after a full day of work.

Knock, knock...

"Come in!"

Hoshikage shouted, suddenly feeling a little weird as he always had guards stationed outside for reporting people who wanted to come in.

...

He suddenly stood from his chair, his eyes wide in shock, as he saw a really tall young man ducking a little while unexpectedly entering his office doors now, promptly followed by another young girl.

"Who are you!?" He pointed towards them with his finger, his voice shaking for a bit near the end.

"We've come to claim your soul now, geezer!"

Yoshi said while grinning as he finally entered the room, in a manner like he owned the room, together with Anko.

Anko chuckled a little at his previous sentence.

Glancing a little at the interior of the office and nodding, he exclaimed casually again.

"Needs a bit more decoration, but will do for a while!"

"Do you know who are you talking to, brat!?"

The Hoshikage pretend to be a little fierce, suddenly throwing a shuriken at Yoshi.

The shuriken went straight for Yoshi's chest but surprisingly bounced off when it connected.

Yoshi's whole body was already secretly covered in protective invisible fuinjutsu marks.

He was like a walking fuinjutsu mummy right now.

"Haha... Is that all this 'Kage' can do now?"

Yoshi suddenly asked while genuinely laughing a little.

Hoshikage opened his eyes wide in fear and shock, he felt a great dread for himself, and this whole village suddenly rising inside of him dangerously.

Yoshi completely disregarded him and turned a bit while surprisingly asking Anko.

"Anko, how should I dispose of him?"

'Did he notice before...?'

Anko felt a bit embarrassed now.

"Eh... Um... How about doing it with your c-chains ...?"

Her whole face got extremely red as she replied in a mosquito-like voice.

Yoshi just smiled patting her on her head a little, before snapping his fingers for a bit.

And the howls and wails of extreme agony and pain soon filled the symbolic office for a few minutes straight afterward.

...

"And the first step is now finally completed!"

Yoshi suddenly said casually with his hands behind his head while sitting on the Hoshigake's slightly spacious chair leisurely.

"I'll begin the restoration of my clan, from here!"

"From this small village, I'll also get revenge on the four great ninja villages!"

'First, I'll start conquering the nearby shinobi villages in all directions,'

'Train my shinobi forces well,'

'Uzumaki sealing technology will also be used later for growing crops...'

'And, let's brand some of those sheep with my seals now so they don't betray me later!"

Yoshi stood up from his chair resolutely, planning to show the people of this village who's their new boss now.

Anko looked at his back, then at the now blood-soaked, crimson walls of this room, completely mesmerized and enthralled by Yoshi and his previous actions.

Her eyes also showing another unanticipated emotion at this moment,

Her secret lust for him!
