All the other Heroes were left speechless. This guy is too dumb. The Hero with the sword couldn't handle such stupidity and said:

Herick finally began to understand what they were saying when the Hero with the spear spoke, because the system started translating to Portuguese at that exact moment.

Nevertheless, Herick remained quiet and an awkward atmosphere settled. But soon the king, with all his "kindness," eased the tension and said:

- Welcome, glorious heroes. We have summoned you to help us with the catastrophes and assist our people with your bravery!

Everyone became excited, except Herick. Before the king could say anything else, he spoke:

- We are called heroes, but have you deprived your heroes of their homes?

The king thought:

(It had to be the Demon of the Shield to ask such a question)

He forced a smile first, then tried to look sad, a terrible actor, terrible at everything he does. But even his sad face, which anyone could see through, couldn't fool the Hero with the spear and the Hero with the bow.

Well, the Hero with the sword simply ignored it all. He didn't care about many things, nor did he have a deep connection to his own world. But to act equally, he put on an angry face. Just like the other two heroes, only Herick remained calm.

To calm everyone down, the King said:

- When you defeat your enemy, you may return to your respective worlds with your current age, and you may bring two friends with you.

Herick and the Hero with the sword didn't question this lie. Herick didn't bother to discuss it, and the Hero with the sword knew nothing would change. He was too lazy to waste his time on it.

So everything went on as it did in the original. But when the princess was about to stand behind Herick, he said:

- As a Brazilian, I prefer to walk alone.

He almost said right away: because in my country, there's a saying that goes, "better to be alone than in bad company."

The king didn't want to miss the opportunity to incriminate Herick, the Shield Hero, and said:

- But you are the Shield Hero, you can only use shields!

Herick smiled and said:

- My people are violent, we don't like to use weapons. We prefer to fight barehanded.

Not all of them were like that, of course, but Herick particularly liked to fight with his hands. When he was a child, he fought fifteen kids at once and won. There was one occasion where, as a child, he went after someone with a piece of wood to hit them, and the person used their arm as a shield until the other child got scared and ran away.

The king realized he missed his chance, and the princess, with a grimace on her face, went to the Hero with the spear, who almost danced like Sanji does in One Piece when she approached him.

Herick wanted to sing to him:

- Hey, fur mouth, you're kissing the girl who sucked the whole gang. 

But he restrained himself, although he had a big smile on his face. Herick imagined the two heroes (the Hero with the spear and the princess) kissing, and it appearing to the Hero with the spear just like in GTA when you die:

- Screwed.

Herick struggled not to laugh. This guy is pathetic. Sanji could be understood, he's a native of One Piece, and when he needed help, only women came to his aid, along with Zeff, whom he considers as a father figure. Besides these people, he was only helped by his mother and sister. So with the trauma of his mother, it's normal for him to defend women like that, and the affection from his sister has left him a bit delusional.

But this guy came from modern society, this useless idiot. Anyway, Herick said to the king:

- Since I have no one to rely on, I should receive twice as much as the other Heroes, after all, I need better equipment.

The king was furious on the inside, but he replied in a sweet and calm tone:

- But by being alone, you will consume less...

Herick interrupted:

- So I'm not considered a hero in your eyes? Or in the eyes of this entire kingdom, considering the reaction of everyone present and the fact that only one person volunteered to be on my team?

Even the Hero with the spear picked up on something from Herick's words. The other two understood that the kingdom didn't really like Herick, but the king panicked at Herick's words. This could easily turn all the Heroes against the kingdom.

In despair, he said:

- No, you are very dear to the kingdom, and as a proof of my appreciation, I will give you four times more than the other heroes.

Smiling, Herick said:

- Alright, but to ensure there are no mistakes when counting our money, us heroes will count it together.

The others said nothing, as they all understood that it would benefit them. The princess was thinking about persuading the Hero with the spear, but she didn't think it would be worth it in this scenario.

And soon everything was done as Herick had said. But since it was morning, Herick went to look for the EHARD blacksmith, searching for it for quite some time until he found it.
