Three weeks later, she had gone to the Zhao mansion to take her belongings. She was ridiculed by her two-faced sister who had finally shown her true colors and her grandma who was always prejudiced against her. Her mother just gave her a stern look with apparent disregard while her father acted as if nothing concerned him.
She didn't get to see her grandpa because all that time he was in his study . When she stepped out of the mansion, her vision blurred and she couldn't see clearly. All that time, she had been acting strong leaving her very drained.
She had hoped someone would call her back though she had also expected the disappointment.
This was her home where she was born and grew up in.
All the events that took place in her life played out in her head over and over. Although she never enjoyed a single day in this mansion, this was her home and she was finally leaving for good. She shed tears as she faced inescapable emotional defeat.
