91. Fellow transmigrater
Alex clicked his tongue in annoyance. What he hated the most were such hypocritical people who say one thing while doing the other when the night falls.
Hearing that, Kim suddenly became intrigued.
She knew that the person committing the crime was an esper but for some reasons, she didn't think it was necessary to tell Alex, at least not for now. Apart from it being a long and unbelievable story to narrate, Kim didn't want to create too much attention and cause unnecessary panic. She didn't want to alert the enemy.
After confirming that it was indeed an esper, Kim had been thinking. How comes the esper had awakened before the apocalypse? This would only mean that unorthodox methods were used to force an awakening!
But this knowledge would only be found later in the 30th century where people were using science to awaken espers in order to make them work for them as soldiers.
