10. Lee Jiang

She was neither warm, burying herself with work in order to keep her distance from the child. She only provided him with the most basic needs.

In all essence, Lee Jiang, the boy had been raised by his grandparents the Lee couple till a year ago when they suddenly passed away leaving the host with no option than to take him with her. 

Nevertheless, nothing seemed to change between them.

She was distant while Lee Jiang who was forced to mature at an early age always had a cold & indifferent aura around him keeping off anyone from coming close to him. Thus the two lived like two strangers sharing a house.

 Kim Lee sighed helplessly. The host was really a sinner. The child was really the most innocent no matter the circumstance. He was still a small child after all who needed love and care from his parents but the only parent near him never took him into her eyes, treating him like a thorn in her heart. 

She had left too much mess for Kimberly to clean up for her.

 Since the boy was probably asleep, Kim quietly tiptoed to her bedroom to avoid disrupting the little one's sleep.

He was too pitiful. She had to find a way to mend their broken relationship and give him a proper childhood like other kids. She'll make sure to give him a complete happy home and especially teach that scumbag biological father of his on how to be a responsible father.

Especially after what happened today... Kim blushed and hurriedly smacked her forehead. How could she think about indecent things in the middle of the night!

 She marvelled at the perfect and sweet coincidence in life. The man who followed her in every lifetime happened to be the biological father of her kid!

Saves her the trouble of having to separate a kid from his biological father to give him a complete home.

Kimberly's head fell on the pillow, a stupid infatuated smile plastered on her exhausted face.

 What she didn't know was that the moment her lights dimmed, the door in the next bedroom slowly opened. 

 A little boy with elegant features, a noble aura and a cold expression clenched his fists tightly.

The temperature around him turned chilly while a killing intent flashed across his dark pupils. Without a word, he returned to his room.

 Lee Jiang pulled out a chair on his study desk and turned on an inconspicuous laptop on the neatly arranged table. His actions and expressions were so mature, something rarely seen on a 5 years old kid.

Soon a handsome face of a young man in his mid twenties was displayed on the video call. He smiled softly showing a row of white teeth.

 " Little young master Jiang! Tsk I was just about to inform you that somebody seems to have moved before we did. Someone picked them up in a helicopter."

 " Them? " Lee Jiang frowned. The young man smiled cunningly.

" Your scumbag father and his team too seemed to have been ambushed and stranded on the island. "

 " They met? " Lee Jiang's expression turned a little ferocious. 

The man understood what he meant.

 " Relax, you're mother has never known that he is your scumbag father. Moreover, her real face wasn't revealed."

 Lee Jiang snorted coldly. " Who picked them up? "

" That's the strange part in this. The people didn't seem to be there for your scumbag father but specifically for her. We need a little time to investigate their identity. Their identity doesn't seem simple at all but it looks like it has something to do with your mother's biological family.

Have you ever heard about the mysterious ancient clan that has protected the monarchy and the royal family for centuries? "

 Lee Jiang nodded his small head in understanding not intending to continue the topic for now.

On the other hand the man chuckled mischievously intending to tease the little block of ice.

 " Speaking of which, as the first born son of the royal crown prince, aren't you the destined future king of

Continent M? "

 When he heard that, Lee Jiang frowned his little mature face showing signs of anger. The contempt in his eyes couldn't be hidden either. " I don't have a father. " His tone was cold and disdainful. 

 The man figured that it was time to stop teasing the little fierce devil lest he erupts.

" How do you want to deal with the insatiable wolves? Now that your mother has completely cut off any ties with them, I think it's the right time to take action. "

 The little boy pursed his red lips coldly. His eyes turned ferocious looking as if they were going to release fire. "You're right. " He smiled evilly in a smile that didn't reach his eyes. " Previously, grandpa and granny were their saving grace. This time the Lee family must go to hell! "

The next morning the sun rose slowly ushering in a new day. 

In an affluent neighborhood in the capital, a man opened his hazy eyes. 

It took sometime before the dark eyes became clear and he regained his rationality. It seemed to be one of his usual nightmares.

After washing his face in the bathroom, he went to the closet area and pressed an inconspicuous hidden compartment. Suddenly, a hidden elevator opened. He entered inside the spacious elevator and pressed a button after the door closed automatically. The elevator stopped and opened in an underground room that resembled a fully equipped hospital.

He turned and walked to the left and slowly opened the door to a room.

 In the room was a man in his early thirties lying on a hospital bed. Though he looked like nothing in his age due to his thin and sickly body.

 Li Zihan sat on a stool near the bed and silently gazed at the lying man who had been in a coma for more than 5 years.

 " What did you find out? " Half an hour later, he finally opened his mouth without taking his eyes off the sleeping man.

A man in black whose face was hidden under a mask suddenly appeared out of the darkness.

 " Your Highness the Crown Prince! "

He respectfully bowed his head towards Li Zihan who waved a hand in dismissal.

 " It has already spread all over the public that Ina the miracle doctor perished in a helicopter crash on the ghost island. The Lee family is planning to go and collect her ashes tomorrow in order to give her a proper send off. "

 " Perished? " 

 Li Zihan laughed angrily his dark eyes concealing some faint interest.

He clenched his fists furiously remembering the evil woman who had shamelessly molested him the previous day on the ghost island.

They had been ambushed on a mission and he was poisoned with a nerves paralyzing drug thus was lying on the ground alone in a bush unable to even lift his pinkie or utter a faint sound when the woman shamelessly took advantage of him.

 His gaze was cold clearly filled with range yet still restraining his temper. What he couldn't see was the faint warmth, helplessness and confusion in his eyes.

 " She's not dead. "

 The man in black raised his eyebrows in surprise hearing Li Zihan's voice full of certainty.

 Li Zihan continued. " If my guess is right, then there's no need to continue investigating the doctor's whereabouts. I know where to find her. "

 The man in black nodded still in shock. They had spent a fortune and a lot of time trying to locate the miracle doctor's whereabouts. He was really surprised that his boss had already found her.

Li Zihan was about to leave when he suddenly thought of something and chuckled with interest. It didn't matter that the woman had concealed her real face. It only took a few seconds of being intimate with the stupid woman before he was shocked realizing that she was the same shameless woman who had barged into his hotel room more than 5 years ago. It seemed that it was the time to stop the search.

So he ordered, " you can also stop investigating about the woman from 6 years ago. " 

He dropped a bombshell leaving the man in black dumbfounded.
