582 Must Give Back

Zhao Wangling was trembling in dread. She was looking at her online statement in horror. It was just weeks ago that she had over seventy million dollars in her account, now she was left with forty million dollars.

Aside from all the fees she had to settle, she was in disbelief of how much her family had spent in just a matter of days. 

"Mrs. Zhao, the balance, please. We need to pay the caterer for the event," said the event organizer. 

She gritted her teeth as she took out her checkbook and signed another seven hundred thousand dollars for the balance. While she could not deny how grand the venue looked from the inside of the convention center, nor could she overlook the remarkable choice of artists to sing and dance at the party, she was still overwhelmed that she was paying for such an overpriced event.
